Whats your fave Disney parks "street performers"

So, I guess they brought back the character but hired someone else to play him?

Harry Potter IS making a difference!!

While I did happen to enjoy The Princess And The Frog (I think that's what Tpatf stands for), I have to agree that the Disney focus is totally on the pre-teen girl crowd. It's hard to find something that my son can do (other than pirate stuff), while there is a large selection of special...

Whats your fave Disney parks "street performers"

Well, if it wasn't Boss Goobleman, then it was his twin-same mannerisms, same expressions, "Boss Goobleman" on the hard hat, same belly. We saw a guy named "Rusty Commodes" who played the boss, who, incidentally, looked an awful lot like "Sparky". Maybe that's who you're thinking of.

Whats your fave Disney parks "street performers"

As far as Boss Goobleman and Frederick go, we saw Hollywood Public Works on Oct 25, and they were both there. Maybe some common sense prevailed and they were brought back. Hollywood Public Works is the best show by far.

    Buzz/Woody character meals

I agree. I haven't seen anything about a "Toy Story" themed character meal.

    Character Question...PLEASE HELP!

When we were there in November, we saw a lot of characters. Peter Pan, Captain Hook & Mr. Smee were near Pirates of the Caribbean, Pinocchio & Geppetto were in the Town Square area of Main Street, U.S.A. The Town Square area and the area near the hat in MGM Studios (not sure of the correct...

    Opinions on Splash Mountain

Yes, I agree that most guests may not notice the water jets and hopping Br'er Rabbit not working, but last time we were there (in November) there was a section of the mountain missing. It was right after the last waterfall on the right where you go down the last small drop and into the Zip a...

    No Wishes CD

Wishes in the new (as of fall 2003) fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom, which is set to music. I had the pleasure of seeing it in November, and it is really spectacular. I video-taped it so I can hear the soundtrack on the tape, but an acutal CD of it would be great.

Whats your favorite song off of a disney movie

My favorite song would be "A Star Is Born" from Hercules. It gets my toes tapping every time.

    Celebrity and Athlete Sightings

Our last trip down we rode the Tower Of Terror with Montel Williams. We got the ride photo to prove it, too! We were'nt going to bother him, but we couldn't have if we wanted to, because right after we got off the ride he was wisked through a side door and away.

    Favorite Nighttime show at WDW

We just saw IllumiNations, Fantasmic and Wishes this last trip. Wishes is an excellent show. I can't compare it to Fantasy in the Sky because I never saw it (small children and an older one who, until recently, was afraid of fireworks). I also think Fantasmic is outstanding (Of course, it...

    Princess Character Meal

We went to both Cinderella's Royal Table and Princess Storybook Breakfast in early November. We thought that the CRT was much better as far as food and atmosphere. (of course, it's also the harder one to get!). We saw 5 princesses at each one. Mulan was at Akershus and of course Cinderella was...

    best themed restaurant?

I have to agree with Cinderella's Royal Table and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. Also, I give a vote to '50's Prime Time Cafe. I mean, a viewmaster to check the desert menu. How cool is that?

Do You Prepay for PS Character Breakfasts??

For Cinderella's Royal Table you have to put down a deposit on a credit card when you make the priority seating. Other than that you don't have to make a deposit.

    Video Cameras @ WDW

I don't think it's that big of a deal carrying a video camera around. They aren't very large or heavy. I like to tape as much as possible so that I have it to remember between visits.(we usually only go every year or 2). If you use the side screen you can still catch the action live. And...

    It NEVER fails!!!!!

We're leaving on Friday (which makes this the LONGEST week in recorded history) and then to top it off one of the local radio stations is having a contest to send people on a vacation to WDW to ride Mission: Space. So every morning the DJ's are talking about WDW and all the other rides and the...

Choices - Want to try something new

Haven't been to Chef Mickey yet (23 days until I do), but I think that Crystal Palace in a wonderful place to eat. Very good food and great setting.

Trip is still 43 days away, but could use some insight!

I had the same problem with the park early entry. I just sent an e-mail to the resort and they got back to me within a day or so.

Food Rocks to close January 3rd?

I'd say go see it. It's not the best show Disney has, but it's fun and I always enjoy it.

Lion King DVD Pre-Orders Not Arriving

Like Sherm00 said, it's the only way to get lithographs, unless you want to go on Ebay. We normally pre-order (or order before the release date, how's that) so we get the lithographs. And there is a slight convenience to getting it at home (not the overriding consideration. Oh, and we got...
