    Best Moderate Resort?

Re: Moderate Resorts Just to add my opinion on this issue. My favorite is POFQ, my wife and I stayed there is 2002 and it was wonderful. Very easy to get to everything since you don't have to walk very far. We will be staying there again in November. Since we don't use the pools very much...

    What "ride" do you ignore?

Re: What ride do you ignore? The thing that I was always least interested in was conservation station in AK. Then I went on it and found that it ok. Don't want to go back, but would go if asked. So now the only rides that the wife and I really ignore are Dumbo and the carpet thingee in...

    Longest Drive to WDW...

My wife and I used to drive from El Paso to WDW. It is about 1700 plus miles one way. We did it three times in one year. Now my work has transferred me to a place that is only 181 miles from WDW. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to go since we moved here. Hopefully, in September right after...

Favorite Beverage at Ice Station Cool

Ice Station Cool? I have a question? Exactly what is Beverly? Other than a soda from Italy that evidently doesn't taste very good. I have been to WDW on six different trips but the wife is not an EPCOT fan so we only recently started spending any time there looking around. We have seen...

    Cheap(?!??) Gas at WDW

Re: Cheap Fuel at Disney As another one of the dinosaurs, I remember when gas was $.23 a gallon and then two of the stations had a gas war and we were paying around $.15 for one day. Here in southeast georgia the price is around $1.77 a gallon. I live about two miles from the Florida...

    First character you met

First Character :) The first time I went to WDW was in 1998 and I was 47. (How is that for old.) My family and I were having dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern and Minnie came up to me. To make a long story very short she was quite the flirt. My wife and daughter were in tears fo...

Mission Space to be shut down!?

Mission Space My little opinion on this issue is that everyone needs to know their own limits. I don't want them to shut down MS because I haven't been able to ride it yet. After November I might have a different idea. I have ridden on some very rough seas and in some very shaky aircaraft...

    AKL Pool View Room?

pool view room My wife and I stayed in a pool view room at AKL, however, it was in early November. It was never noisy and was really very enjoyable. We would sit on the balcony and watch the kids at the pool. NIce way to relax after coming back from the parks. Hope that this helps.:)

    Catholic Mass

When my wife and I are at WDW we make it a point to attend Mass at Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. We enjoy the Mass and the shrine is beautiful. It has become a tradition for us everytime we visit WDW. While I am truly sorry that the services on property had to be discontinued, I...
