    La Hacienda or Nine Dragons

My vote is for La Hacienda...we ate there last year no long after it opened and absolutely loved it. DH made it a first on our ADR's for spring.

    Which would you keep?

Definitely 'Ohana...our last trip to CM was extremely dissapointing - besides feeling rushed from the moment we checked in - the food was cold (at 7:30 AM!!) and lousy. 'Ohana offers a much better experience IMHO. Have a great trip!!!!

Help! I need a room for 5 people.

We are a family of 6 and stayed at the POR last year. We have 4 children, ages (at the time) 11,6,3,2- the youngest didn't count because he was considered an infant, and it was cramped for us but we also had the strollers in the room. You can try the cabins at FW (and have the convenience of...

    Reservation for Pirate's League

The PL reservation won't show up under the reservations section on line - but it is there. And yes you can bring your own costume for PL! Have fun!

Need help choosing an Epcot Dinner

Rose & Crown is a "pub" style restaurant, they had a salad entree and a vegetarian choice the last time I was there. In fact, the fish & chips is the only fried dish I can think of...maybe the burger, too (never had it so I don't know how it's prepared) The food is good/decent -but watching...

    Baby swap question

Yes the 4 yo can go again. When we visited last year our 3 yo and 2 yo stayed with me while DH and our 2 older children went on the rides - when we swapped the kids got to go on again!

    resort help

I've stayed at both POFQ & POR - I love, love, love POFQ. It's a nice small resort and everything's close by (which couldn't be said about POR). My kids loved the pool and the food court. There is no TS restaurant but we had ADR's at all the parks throughout our trip anyway. Another plus...

    Guest Names Public information

After reading all the responses about paranoia and OCD, etc. While I don't see it as a potential problem I also don't understand why anyone's name would need to be on the pass. For those staying at a resort just put "Guest" and the dates someone will be staying there. It seems unnecessary for...

Toontown Train Station Open or Closed?

The train just goes in a loop from the entrance to the Frontierland and back again. It doesn't change direction - just bypasses the old Toon Town stop.

Need help choosing an Epcot Dinner

I would cancel Coral Reef. It was once a "must-do" on our trips but the last few times I've been there the atmosphere can't make up for the quality of the food. I happen to love La Hacienda, Rose & Crown and Teppan Edo. I haven't tried Via Napoli (as a NY'er I don't eat pizza outside the...

    A question about Riverside

I've stayed at both and think both are great resorts (the best in mods). I do prefer POFQ. My kids love the pool and I like the smaller resort. The POR is a big resort and for all the walking (we family with 4 kids, 2 were in strollers) we regretted not having paid to upgrade for a preferred...

Anyone remember Melvin The Moose Breakfast in Pioneer Hall?

OMG - I totally forgot about that. We always went when we stayed in the '80s. Thanks for the flashback :D

    Hotel...

If I were you I would look at the PO French Quarter. The rooms are close so your not walking all over the resort to get to the pool or food court and they all have queen size beds. I love POFQ. I have stayed at the value resorts but they did not appeal to me. Some love them...some don't.

Changes to table service dining cancellation policy - credit card requirement expands

No AW (figure it out...it ends with wipe) I am not considering one of my kids will get sick - as I said further in my post...it has never happened to me...but there are thousands of families that visit WDW each day. None of these people plan to get sick - but it happens. And (for those of us...

Changes to table service dining cancellation policy - credit card requirement expands

First off...half of the restaurants on this list offer character meals or are "real signature" meals. Secondly - no one is saying "no-shows" should be excused Finally (for all those that jump on this bandwagon) - the complaint many of us have is the per-person price. I have 4...

Changes to table service dining cancellation policy - credit card requirement expands

Yeah...I'm inclined to agree. This has nothing to do with double booking or making reservations you can't or won't keep and everything to do with squeezing every possible dollar they can out of you.

Changes to table service dining cancellation policy - credit card requirement expands

I can see the fee for no-shows but if someone calls and cancels their reservation they shouldn't be charged. No shows are a problem because walk-ups are turned away when a table is held. And apparently these are for the restaurants in greater demand than others so I'm sure they get more walk-up...

Changes to table service dining cancellation policy - credit card requirement expands

The nice about the WDW resort is that we don't need a car...or so we think:veryconfu
