I think that height is more a factor than age. I mean if they can't ride most of the rides it seems like alot of money to spend on a trip when all you are doing is walking around and only riding the attractions for younger audiences.

Well in 1978, the Magic Kingdom was the only park that existed in Disney World. I think it was 1981 that Epcot was finished in, (correct me if I'm wrong) making it the second park. So in '78 it is understandable why Magic Kingdom was accepted to mean Disney World. Edit: Sorry, just...

Personally, I'm kind of glad that this Beastly Kingdom was not and is not going to be built. It has a Universal feel to it (at least by the way it has been described) and I don't think any of us want that invading Disney

I can't speak directly to the Contemporary but, I had the Concierge at the Beach Club and it was awesome. Great food, perfect for breakfast on the go. We made a priority seating right from the hotel. I'm sure the concierge's at both resorts are comparable.

My family was able to do everything that we wanted (all major rides) in two days. This probably adds to the decline. Disney, as we all know takes years to do everything so families take longer visits and spend more while there. The one upside to Universal is the express line available to...

I know what you mean. I got that awe sensation when I went anywhere in Disney, when I went last year. I haven't been many times so when I saw the castle for the first time other than it pictures it was amazing.
