    What's your favorite...

I like Akershus, although it's better at lunch or dinner than breakfast. Otherwise I haven't eaten at any of your choices. I have eaten at Rainforest at DTD, and I have to say, I'd have to be starving to death to eat in there again. If you don't want to wait for a table they charge you $10...

    Worst Restaurant At WDW

A lot of people also mentioned Restaurant Marrakesh. We have an ADR here for our upcoming trip. Most of the reviews we read about it have been great. I guess I'm curious as to what it is people dislike? How does the food compare to other Moroccan food that you've had? For me the food at...

Those that have taken or will take babies under 1 yr of age

Hi! Last year our kids were 7, 4 and 6 weeks. The baby mostly stayed in the sling, but I brought the big stroller so she could nap in it. Also, the 4-year-old could ride in it. We also brought an umbrella stroller which we carried in the bottom of the big stroller in case we needed it...

    Parking and Hopping

I agree with the captain--just park once. Unless you're going to Downtown Disney, Disney transport is fast and easy. Also, I almost always beat the parking lot trams by walking at Epcot and Animal Kingdom and sometimes MGM.

    Windsor Hills

I've stayed there! We had a third-floor three-bedroom condo. There was no elevator. If you're looking at something like this keep in mind it's very far up. Also, we were so far from the pool that we had to drive to it. It was nice and spacious; we also had a balcony. There was regular...

Character Dining - Liberty Tavern or Garden Grill

Hi! I've been to both places so I think I can answer this. At Garden Grill, we saw Chip and Dale, Minnie, Mickey and Pluto. The food was pretty good. The restaurant does revolve and my mother claimed she got motion sick. I don't think that's possible, just thought I'd mention it to you...

Do attractions or shows ever open early?

My sister and I went on Alien Encounter about a month before its official opening. A CM was standing outside and inviting people in; none of the signage was lit (it was night). About shows, I don't know. It seems to me that a show would rehearse elsewhere before moving to the main stage...

EPCOT Food and Wine Festival crowds????

I haven't been to Food and Wine in a couple of years. Last time I went I was a bit surprised at the number of drunk people I saw wandering around (after about six). One guy was pretending to converse with me while I talked to my husband on my cell phone. After I said, "Excuse me?" his friends...

    Columbus Day Crowds?!?!

I was at WDW last year for Columbus Day week. We only noticed large crowds on Columbus day itself; later in the week we saw Spectromagic with the 50 other who were still in the MK in the cold. It did get cool in the evening if it rained during the day, which it pretty much did every day. On...

    Most outrageous price?

Also, the backs seem to fall off them all the time. On this last trip, I found two pins that someone had lost. One was a Mickey pin; my DD kept saying there was a hidden Mickey on her stroller wheel. When I finally looked down, there it was, stuck in the wheel. I also found one with Stitch...

    LOST: Annual Pass

I just wanted to add that I've had to replace APs for children who didn't have ID. Their passes were linked to mine somehow; Disney replaced them using my ID.

Report: Disney Rejects New Height Limit For Rides

They are extremely strict about the height requirement--and they should be. My DS at 6 just made it to 45" and was very excited to ride everything he could get on. CMs at Space Mountain measured him 3 times in the line to make sure he was tall enough; at Mission Space (which he loves--but he...

    Caribbean Beach Resort?!?

I'm agreeing with Jamaica. We stayed there on our last trip and it was an easy walk to the food court and main pool--even my 6-yr-old walked it with no trouble. Our room was close to the bus stop/parking lot as well as the village pool. My daughter was 2 the first time we stayed at CBR and...

    Reservation Question

Wow--I didn't know there was a difference between adults and children in the room (except that children are smaller, LOL). It'll be a straight change from adult to adult if it happens. Anyway, thanks for your help--right after I booked it I wondered if there was some way I could've booked the...

    Reservation Question

Just booked a trip for early January using Passholder Best Rate program. There is only about a 60% chance that my husband will be going; if he bows out, my mother will probably come in his place. When I booked the reservation online I had to put in my husband's name. If he doesn't come, can I...

    Preferred Room Location

I think preferred location also refers to corner rooms at CBR--they have some rooms that have two windows instead of one. I stayed at Jamaica with mom and two kids (3 and 6) this past trip. I loved it! We were close-ish to the pool, had only a short walk across the bridge, close to the bus...

    When and Why?

We've been a couple of times in October, which is my favorite time. It's still warm (although we had a couple of nights when we huddled together for warmth!) and although the parks close earlier we just kept the kids on their regular schedule--which meant they generally weren't up before 9 or...

    Muppet Vision 3-D Help

I know that Kermit tells him he's got about a minute and a half, but can't remember how long he thinks he needs. 2 hours, maybe?

    Toddlers and Characters?

When DD was 2 she was fine with the characters, would hand them the books and play with them. She beeped Pluto's nose and ran straight to Mickey. After the hat came off her Dumbo toy, she told Wendy that "it needs sewing." My DD is 3 now. On this trip just past (July-August), she was...
