Anybody been to Google Earth lately ? :D

I like Microsoft's Live.com maps better. The bird's eye view feature is amazing. Although it is kind of strange to see a big parking lot right behind the Main Street shops.

    What's your first Disney memory?

I remember bits and pieces of my first visit to Disneyland... Pulling into the old Disneyland parking lot, seeing the sign Watching the afternoon parade Going on the Haunted Mansion and It's A Small World (only two rides I remember) Fantasmic Racing to see Tinkerbelle fly from the castle...

    WDW Virtual Visit

Thanks a lot for all your hard work. I completely forgot about your site and today I came down with a case of WDW fever and remembered it out of the blue. Liberty Square is one of my favorite lands and it'll be great to now be able to browse it from my living room from now on. Thanks again! :)

    Last Ride Before You Leave...

We usually begin and end our trip at the Magic Kingdom, so we try and hit the three mountains before Wishes.

    Your Favorite land

Definitely Liberty Square, for the aforementioned reasons. Because it lacks a thrill ride like the other lands, it's often overlooked. The theming is great. The shops and restaurants are top-notch as well. For me, it's... 1. Liberty Square 2. Frontierland 3. Main Street USA 4. Fantasyland...

    Interesting DAK Article @ LP

Some solid attractions in Australia, and eventually Antarctica and South America would make the Animal Kingdom a very well-rounded park. Maybe then people would spend more than a few hours there.

Best and Worst Post Show/ Ride Endings

What they should've done with the Maelstrom movie was install a few monitors in the queue area and let the guests have something to look at besides the mural.

Animal Kingdom's rep as being a half-day park

If we're staying for three days or so, we usually only spend about 3-4 hours in the Animal Kingdom. Then again, we don't eat there and only hit the major attractions. It's Tough to be a Bug, Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safaris. In that order.

Does anyone like when the parks are crowded?

I like to wait in a small line, just long enough that I can get that feeling of anticipation as we get closer and closer. Also, it's nice to have time to appreciate the small details that Disney puts into their queue areas instead of rushing through them.

What Direction To Go When Entering The Magic Kingdom?

This is an interesting topic. We usually head left in the morning and ride Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Splash, Big Thunder, and the Mansion before lunch. I like Tomorrowland a lot better in the evening, so we wait until dark for Space Mountain and Buzz.

    If you had to choose

On one of our trips, we stayed at a great place called Orbit One. Our villa had two big bedrooms (one with an attached bathroom, complete with a whirlpool tub), a spacious living area (with a fold-out couch), a fully stocked kitchen/dining room, and a washer/dryer. The complex was no more...

Do they have hamburgers at the Columbia Harbour House? I ate there just last month, but I can't remember the menu.

    Week of March 13-19

We're going March 6-12, and everyone I've asked has told me that the crowds are moderate. Can someone elaborate for me? Last time I visited was December of 2000, and the crowds were non-existent. I really don't know what to expect.

What's this about a Sleepy Hollow and Mary Poppins attraction?

    Fire Mountain ?

I'd absolutely love to see Fire Mountain, but I doubt it's going to be built, since Expedition Everest is the E-Ticket of the moment. We can hope, though. :(

    TerraFly

Forgive me if there's already a thread on this, but I was recently turned on to a web site called TerraFly (http://www.terrafly.com/). Enter any address, state, and zip code, and you can view it from space. Pretty cool. Anyway, after looking at my house, work, and good ol' Wrigley...
