I was there 3 times between '91 and '92, and it really was quite great then. I loved MGM Studios during those years - Yeah, it may have been a "half day" park, but that just meant you did everything twice!

Thread winner is right above, IMHO... Coincidentally, I was JUST at Walmart, and I saw this. Its really nothing at all, just a mobile device scan thing. Its on a cardboard display of DVD's, video games, stuffed animals, and some Disney cups and such. NOTHING to get too bent out of shape about.

I would say it REALLY comes down to which theming you prefer. The amenities at the two are VERY similar. I prefer the Bayou/ Swamp feel of Riverside - but French Quarter is very nice as well!
