Is it me or does Innoventions display less futureistic products then it used to?

But wasn't Innoventions about the dreams of the future? It wasn't merely new products that hadn't yet made it to market yet, it was a future that could be, wasn't it? I admit, I wasn't there during it's glory days, but when I go to Epcot, I don't care if I stop in or not.

    Moving to Orlando?

I was recently told by my employer that my position is being eliminated (in reality it's being outsourced). My last day is July 15th and then I'll be treated to 18 weeks of severance. I'm thinking this is an excellent opportunity to realize my dream of becoming a Florida resident and WDW...

Anyone know how crowded DHS is today 5/21/10?

We're here, were thinking of stopping by DHS, but afraid it'll be overrun by Star Wars people. Don't have park hoppers and don't wanna waste our time, anyone know? My stupid Verizon phone (all three) will not run the Disney Magic App. and Disney web page doesn't have any useful information...

If given the choice of one spot at the World, where would it be and why???

I like Sunset Boulevard in DHS. There's always a lot going on there as far as entertainment and people watching as well as some cool shops.

How reliable are completion dates for refurbs?

I'm leaving for WDW tomorrow May 14th. I know muppet 3D is being refurbed 4/24 - 5/14. Does that mean it'll open on the 14th? Even worse RnR is closing Saturday through Thursday. We're planning on going to the studios on Friday 'cause, once again, I don't know if 5/15-5/20 means it'll still...

What's The Longest Stretch You Have Gone From Visiting Disney World?

My parents took me the only 1 time in 1976 and I didn't return until I had kids of my own 1996. So it was 20 years for me. But, then I went the next year, and the next year, and... I'm going Saturday!!!!! :sohappy: Admitedly, it has be just over 2 years. I was in Orlando in September. We...

To Park Hop or not to Park Hop

Ok, so I screwed up. I thought buying the extra days would give me flexibility. I was obviously wrong. Oh well, I guess I'm going to the park 7 days whether I feel up to it or not. The worst part is my wife is disabled, and I know she won't be able to handle all 7 days.

To Park Hop or not to Park Hop

In the past I've bought tickets with the park hopper option only to find find that we seldomly used it. Our stay in Florida is normally a week and usually get a 4 day pass and for the most part we spent 1 day in each park. Sometimes after AK closes we'd hop over to Epcot, but that's about it...

WDW 2010: Same old pixie dust?

I gotta say, "same old" is still the best thing out there. This year, after continuous trip to WDW over the last ten years, we decided to try USF. Even the kids were disappointed. We'll be there is May and nothing new or not, I can't wait.

    Parking going up to $14

Imagine the good PR that would be generated if the next time they raised the ticket prices, they include an extra $1 and earmark it for parking. Don't announce it as a parking surcharge or anything just make it park of the annual price increase. Then announce free parking. They'll make more...
