My mom did this for us on long car trips to wdw- it was something like every 90 miles or 120 (whatever was determined at the beginning) and we would follow along on the AAA trip-tik- so we would know "how much longer" without having to ask (and we learned map skills!) My family also had a great...

What my family and I have noticed is that each day gets busier until thanksgiving day, which is the busiest--and this is usually at MK. Most years we spend Thanksgiving Day at Epcot and it isn't too bad. Doable crowds. The Osborne Lights are up by Thanksgiving and all Christmas decorations...

If you find it difficult to make a reservation for that day- the food court at POR has a good deal on a Thanksgiving meal (my dad loves it). Some good restaurants we've been to for Thanksgiving lunch are The Rose and Crown, Le Cellier, and the Brown Derby.

This thread is making me laugh- because my family and i aren't even so much worried about the germs on the handlebars- but the smell that won't come off our hands for the rest of the day if we do touch the bars. no soap can dispose of or cover that unique aroma up!

i know it's not a parade, but illuminations! as soon as it begins i tear up- and don't stop til i'm out of the park!!

We go to WDW for Thanksgiving every year...what we've noticed is that the parks get busier with each day- thanksgiving day being the busiest (especially mk). But- mk is open much later- until 11 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday- so we usually save some of the more popular rides for later...

I keep looking for it- and now think maybe it's just me....but I LOVE the italian sandwich at Pizzafari at the Animal Kingdom. It is pretty much awesome. During all the times I've been to WDW, I've never eaten at Cosmic Rays! I will definitely have to stop by on my next trip!
