Like I say every single year..
Why the hell do these peoples friends and family allow them to believe that they can sing at all?
I just do not get it....My family would look at me and laugh so hard they would wet their pants if I told them I was going to audition for Idol.
People..QUIT Lying to these people and tell them the truth!!!!
As for the guy with the key and his Daddy with the heart..*shakes head*

The guy that kept warming up his voice cracked me up...Then when he would sing his arms went up in the air..:ROFLOL:
The fingernail guy from Lucedale, MS was pretty good...That is about 30 miles northeast of me...I don't know why he brought his nails with him:hurl:...I guess he felt he needed something for him to stand out. :shrug:

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with the situation itself, but the fact that his dad was wearing the other one would be a red flag for me. If I were a prospective bride I would probably fear a little too much involvement (in all aspects of life) of my father in law :lol:

See...I think if you want to save yourself for your wife or husband then great!..My problem was the fact that his father wore the heart..
Just kinda strange to me..and also the fact that he will not kiss anyone till his wedding day...I think it will be hard for him to find someone at all..:shrug:

I know some people that have made that choice. One girl that my husband worked with at his previous job is about 23 and she's still sticking to it. Beautiful girl too! I think it's very admirable, to be honest. I didn't choose that route... but I think it's great that others want to do that.

That's what I was also thinking. I am all for saving yourself for marriage, but in my opinion there is absolutely nothing wrong with a kiss. I am thinking it will also be difficult for him to find someone. Or else when he does he will jump into marriage quickly, lol.

*High Fives!* We think alike. I tell my wife that if I embarrassed myself on AI, the people I would be mad at would be my friends and family. I would hope at some point, that someone would pull me aside and go - "George, you know that singing and dancing thing that you do that you think is so good? Well, ummm, to be honest, you kind of $______." However, I'm sure some of them know that they are terrible and just want to get on TV.
I missed the key guy putting my kids to bed, but it sounds sufficiently entertaining that I'll go back and watch it tonight.

I've noticed that almost all of the girls are very Carrie Underwood-like. I'm lovin' this season already! :lol: Some of the guys look promising as well.
The "Birdman" guy at the end was so hilarious! :lol: And I think Simon was right, his song might be a very Willaim Hung-esque popular single.

Oh my gosh, I LOVED the guy with the low voice. It was too funny.
Way too strange.
That part was great. She was crazy.

The girl who thought she was the next Mariah was on a local radio station here today (via telephone). She sang Amazing Grace and was actually very good. Hard to believe it was the same girl! The radio host suggested that perhaps the AI folks made her sound worse in post-production and she said "Oh no, I really did sound that bad!" At least she had a sense of humor about it :lol:
