Apartment Finder seems to say $700+ for a 2-bedroom, $800+ for a 3-bedroom. Those are the cheapest and only goes up from there. That's what I paid for an apartment almost 10 years ago in the midwest. Doesn't seem so bad?
We've seen Disney also move security checkpoints to the monorail resorts. I'd imagine you can expect the same thing with those getting on the gondolas. Once you're on, you've been cleared. Yet another way to differentiate versus how 'magical' that experience is elsewhere.
Dinorama is meant to look like a carnival. A great deal of effort went into making it look that way. In movies there are scenes that not everyone likes, just the same in the parks.
As for the $200 million figure.. they had to have been doing imagineering work on concepts in the background...

I know that my wife would say the exact opposite. She has no desire to watch any of the Star Wars films, it was difficult to drag her on to Star Tours even. This said, the obvious reason for TSL is something new at DHS that precisely isn't SWL.
I'm not sure the direction that the creek there flows, they may have finished a portion of it early to provide some quick overflow protection while they fill in the swamp to the south of the park. All the dirt from it appears to be in one BIG pile with several smaller ones at the very south...

Tower cranes are fairly fixed in how far they can reach with loads. They also prevent other large and mobile cranes from working in close vicinity and would be difficult to use when affixing all the different sized pieces that make up the non-uniform mountain shapes. Combining both approaches...
We've always phrased it as what is the business or reputation cost if something stops working? How many days could the company operate without a competent IT staff. The answer has always been not very long.
