I can understand the underwhelming feeling of DisneyLand when you've only been exposed to WDW. But i think for most west coasters DisneyLand still holds a lot of charm, especially if you stay onsite.

I like the positive summary of all the capital expansions across all the Disny Resort properties. But I'm suprised it didn't mention the Avatar expansion. I guess it's only referring to projects now coming online.

This will be going on during my vacation too. Hopefully no other major attractions will be under refurb too. Oh well, I dont mind Thunder being closed b/c we have a Thunder here in California.

Soarin' is a lot of fun the first time around, but after that the re-ride value is pretty low compared to other major attractions. Hope to see some real Grade A attractions at Avatar land.

People who dont like Disney World, (or other Disney related things) usually are the following... 1) Tend to not have that "kid at heart" attitude. 2) Dont enjoy Disney characters and stories. (if you dont like the movies, you wont like the parks)
