Do the Disneyland Hotel rooms have balconies?

Disneyland Hotel I just returned from a stay at the Disneyland Hotel about 2 weeks ago. Most of the rooms do not have balconies. However, I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite in the frontier tower and it had a balcony. I belive most of the suites have balconies, but not all. Its a great hotel and...

    We're going to Disneyland!

I just returned from Disneyland. This was my first real trip as the last trip was over 12 years ago and was very brief. This time it was 5 nights at the Disneyland Hotel. You are going to have so much fun, I'm not sure where to start on recommendations. I would recommend visiting all of the...

Taping at Disneyland - February 13th

I figured it was a taping for the Disney Channel or for a commercial, but the more I thought about the more curious I became. The weather was a tad cool, but being from Indiana, it wasn't that bad. However, we have been having a very very mild winter, so it was very similar to what we have...

Taping at Disneyland - February 13th

Hey all, I was at Disneyland this week and when I was in the park on Tuesday (February 13th) evening, I noticed there was filming going on. I wasn't able to find out who or what was being filmed, but it was obviously a somewhat professional production. Since my return home, I have searched the...

    New Year's Eve Announcement?

One More Day I, also, am amazed and embarrased for Disney at the error of telling people to tune at 11:00 pm for a big announcement and then not providing anything. Not only is the promotion somewhat of a lackluster marketing ploy to build excitement, but then this snafu? It all seems really...

    Disneyland in Summer 2012

Disneyland 2012 2012 must be the year of Disneyland! I have my trip booked and almost paid for for February 2012.:sohappy: I also have been hearing of other WDW vets planning DL trips for next year. With all of the activity going on at DLR, I believe it has created a buzz in the fan community.

A look inside the new Disney Story Room family suites at Disney's Art of Animation

Family Suites Definitely not my tastes, but they will be popular with the "families with small children" segment of their target market.

    Package Deal, or DIY?

DIY Disneyland As far as I can tell, there seems to be very little benefit with Disneyland packages. I think they mostly justify the increased prices with ease and "no hassle" of booking their packages opposed to DIY. I could be missing something since I am not a Disneyland guru by any means...

entrance change to the seas w/nemo

Nemo I cringe when I witness children and adults climbing on things and in areas where they shouldn't be. I think it all goes back to the sense of entitlement that has been taught over the years. I am only 33 and I am so glad that my parents taught me respect and discipline. :brick:

Matterhorn Closed for Refurbishment Yes, Matterhorn is closed from July 11th - Sept 1st for the first of a couple of refurbs to update the attraction, including all new sleds. Rumor is that is will go down again after the Holidays for a lengthy refurbishment.

Monorails to no longer operate during Evening Extra Magic Hours

monorail operation As a business man, I understand this decision from a cost stand point, but is the benefit going to out weigh those who may choose to pass on a monorail resort for a moderate resort? I honestly see this as another "decline by degrees" and that is why I am choosing to spend my...

    Spectromagic Coming Back??

Specto vs. MSEP I have a place for both parades in my heart for different reasons. I have a fondness for MSEP as it was the first parade that I saw at WDW at the age of 3 and I honestly still remember it pretty vividly. I love Spectromagic too. I always felt that it had taken the rudimentary...
