How long do you think until a country is added to WS?

I'm not sure here. I doubt we'll see a new country in the next five years at least, although their may be some plussing to the existing countries (I'm not sure how much room is left in any individual country). The other thing is that, if some other countries are added, eventually World...

Ah crap, you sunk my amusement park...

This is really fun :D Magic Kingdom PTC #46: Bastardized though it is, the oldest ride in the World deserves to be saved. It's A Small World: Very "Disney," visually fabulous, and a good message :) Splash Mountain: Quintessential Disney, a usual concept (log flume) plussed to excellence...

    Soarin' Over Florida (Open Brainstorming)

I am not familiar enough with Florida to offer any really decent ideas (but I'm going to try anyway :D) as to what to put in the video (my two experiences with Florida have been Disney-only), but I'm sure there must be something, as I've heard it is a really gorgeous state (and the little parts...

If you had to skip one park on your trip, which would it be?

Animal Kingdom, without a doubt. It wasn't part of my first WDW experience, and frankly it's just not meaty enough as an amusement park nor does it have enough personal weight to overtake any of the other three parks for me. That said, I don't dislike Animal Kingdom; in fact, I enjoy it. Just...

    Monorail Accident

How awful this is...fortunately so few people were involved. The death of the driver is a terrible loss. The ages of these systems may be working against them...the recent Metrorail crash in Washington involved stock of similar age, I believe. How very shocking...I'm not sure what to say.

    Small Studios Update

I think the general opinion here is that it suddenly matters because Supersonic Celebration was apocalyptically bad. I can't speak to how it was, because I avoided the show like the plague on the reccomendation of everyone here, but that's the feeling, that people would stand in the sunlight...

What Time Do You Wake Up At WDW??

This past trip I woke up around 6:45am every day and the results were fabulous! We ordered groceries from Garden Grocer and had them delivered the first day, so I was able to eat breakfast in my room, shower, dress, head out, and be at the EMH park right on time (or a different park for rope...

    TTA Refurb

That's funny: Our WDW trips were both on the same dates. Wouldn't it be creepy if we had followed the same itinerary? That's very interesting; I don't remember that but I really wasn't paying attention. I wonder what that means, if anything? Maybe the cars are being moved so track work of...

    TTA Refurb

Haha let the fruitless speculation begin! The lights have clearly been pulled out, but the speakers appear to be intact. The cars have also presumably been parked like this since the start of the refurb; if we see them move backstage, I guess that's a sign they're doing some work on them...

    TTA Refurb

Which reminds me that I took some pictures of the track with the overhead lights removed. I saw that work and I actually took them specifically for here (actually, I slowed way down on the Speedway to take them...the people behind me were noticeably displeased). They're really not incredibly...

What part of WDW needs a complete overhaul first?

My vote goes for C&H's Dinorama...abysmal. I don't find either Primeval Whirl or TriceraTop Spin to be anything special; I also find the Boneyard out of place there. Perhaps it belongs closer to Dinosaur? For sure I think the carnival games, though amusingly themed, need to go. At any rate...

    The "Little Problems" Thread

There's been so much agita (rightly so, in my opinion) about Broken Yeti at EE, to name one, that I think we are missing in our discussion "little things" that we've noticed could use repair or touchup. I move that we all use this thread as a compilation of these things, something of a...

    Expedition Everest effects status watch

Very basically, A mode is the full range of motion (which I have not been fortunate enough to see and cannot describe, but I believe the yeti takes a swipe at the car) and is said to be fantastic. B mode involves the yeti with a very limited range of motion or with no range of motion...

Is there a ride you have never been on?

I tried as hard as I could to ride everything in the World at least once, but not everyone in my party was a Type-A enthused Mouseketeer who loves the World (read: I was the only one :)), so touring went much more slowly than I would have liked. I believe the only ride I did not make it to was...

Whats the best souvenir you've received or even bought for yourself from a WDW trip??

Perhaps they formerly did, but I would be surprised if the Moderates still have themed mugs, because the Deluxe at which I stayed last week (Grand Floridian) had the same generic mugs they were selling at All-Star Sports in March.

    CoP voices?

I think these ideas are great! I think the first three scenes are timeless, and the fourth scene is what really dates the show and makes it less accessible to many younger guests. I feel that only the fourth scene needs to be redone; I don't really care how, but I think this is the best idea...

Whats the best souvenir you've received or even bought for yourself from a WDW trip??

Most of the souvenirs I bought for myself or friends are fairly small/typical due to the limitations of airline travel (mostly tshirts and plushes). My favorite "souvenir," however, I picked up (literally) in the Enchanted Tiki Room; one of the birds was molting, so I picked up the feathers...

Tarps all over the Magic Kingdom!!!

Let's see, this would be the Diamond Stitch (which would mean 75 years of Stitch), the Hall of Stitches (an emotional speech by Stitch, interrupted by his gastrointestinal distress, and a brief address by Secretary of State Lilo), It's A Stitch World (seems like recently that wouldn't be a bad...

What's your favorite Epcot cast member costume???

Glad to see so much Soarin' love! I would have voted for Soarin' or Mission: Space; frankly, some of the choices offered are completely unmemorable for me (some of those have costumes? really? I mean, they all do, but really?). Norway is also snazzy, but I voted for Japan because they're...
