Millionaire to be closed and Replaced w/ ride.

I'd rather see the original thread resurrected than the 800 other threads about the same subject. People sigh if a new thread is opened about a subject that is already discussed and people sigh if a thread about that subject is resurrected. I'm not worried about the ride all that much. I...

Millionaire to be closed and Replaced w/ ride.

Does anyone else get a bad feeling that this "midway" theme is going to turn Mickey Ave into another Chester and Hester's? To me it just seems kind of inevitable that carny games are going to line Mickey Avenue just like a "real" midway...

    Wonders of Life: Open?

I believe that Body Wars, Cranium Command, and Making of Me are on the tip board, but that of course doesn't help guests who have no idea where in the park they are (since they're not on the park maps). The times guide just lists Wonders of Life.

    Is Wonders open today/tomorrow?

True. Another thing that makes me think that it was a last minute decision is that the training plans ended last week, which would have put the starting date at last Sunday. Now there's a week lapse in between the last bit of training and the opening of the pavilion. Maybe they are spread thin...

    Is Wonders open today/tomorrow?

It wasn't open yesterday (Monday). According to my sources it looks like Sunday is going to be the day (starting a full week of schedules). At first I didn't think it made much sense to open it after Thanksgiving, but now I'm starting to think that it may have something to do with staffing since...

    What makes SGE so horrible?

Definitely! I've been thinking a lot about that lately... We need an imdb for Disney Attractions!

    What makes SGE so horrible?

AE was one of my favorite attractions. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed with the retooling of the attraction. It honestly gave me a different perspective of Tomorrowland altogether... That being said, I honestly don't think that Stitch is the problem. The new attraction's problems lie...

    Recent photos of River Country

About a week ago, RC was discussed on another thread and contained some other great pictures of the site... http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=108466 Also, take a look at how the whole site looks now... http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=nr1nyb862nzv&style=o&lvl=2&scene=3929698

    Christmas Parade Taping

I'd trade 10 Seacrests if we could get rid of Ty Pennington. Nice to see Andrea Bocelli though... that song that was on The Sopranos is a great one.

Work at Wonder of Life? (Pics)

I don't know if this is what you guys are talking about, but I said in post #66 a couple of weeks ago the fountain at the base of the sign was on. I was there about a week and a half ago and it was on then too.

    Some Musings From Epcot

Very true. Take away FP at Buzz (the most popular ride on property) and you wouldn't have more than a 20 or 30 min wait. Omnimovers are capacity monsters. Like it was said earlier, it's Epcot on a Monday in early November. Plus it was evening... Future World closes at 7 because the general flow...

Laugh Floor opening in Jan 2007

I for one am actually very excited about it. I think that it's going to be a real Adventurer's Club/Comedy Warehouse TYPE experience in MK, which is a big plus in my book. Check out David Russell's (show director for AC and CW) blog... he mentions Laugh Floor a couple of times (auditions in NYC...

    MGM - Movie Ride

...or hydraulic fluid... no wait, that's Stitch. If anything I would like them to return to the old script that CMs used to use. The new(er) one is just hokey. "Now who can tell me what movie this is?" Personally I didn't see anything wrong with the old one, but that's just me. Speaking of...

    HM Hidden Mickey Moved?

I generally don't put too much stock into what is on pins, especially since the other day I saw a pin that said "Disney's MGM Studios". Where have all the proofreaders gone? Okay, so one pin out of thousands of designs I can handle, but when they put the wrong name of the theme park on the bus...

    Americana Theater

Those are last year's dates... the rest of the concerts for this year are: Nov. 5-6 - Chubby Checker & The Wildcats Nov. 7-8 - Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes Nov. 9-12 - Jon Secada Loverboy and Three Dog Night did play this year, but it was a couple of weeks ago.

    night and day....

I enjoy Space Mountain at night. The grease on the track gets warmer/slicker as the day goes on and makes the ride a bit quicker (as can be said with many roller coasters).

    WDW vs. Disneyland

I should have clarified in my post above that I hadn't read his recent article, but was commenting on his past ones. However, I must admit that there are many things that I agree with him on (especially the reduction of entree items at sit down restaurants). There are things around here that...

    WDW vs. Disneyland

The only thing I can say is.... what else is new? That's Al Lutz for you. All of his articles he seems to throw in numerous jabs at WDW. I really think that he comes off as a jealous little kid who is angry that the little brother gets things. Look at his update about the Nemo Submarine...

    Water Park question

For an even worse scare you should have told them to take a trip to Discovery Island... yikes!

    Water Park question

http://local.live.com/default.aspx?v=2&cp=nr1nyb862nzv&style=o&lvl=2&scene=3929698 Take a look at it from each angle (N,S,E,&W)... not sure which one looks the worst. I don't want to know what kind of creatures are in that thing now.
