    Thanksgiving week Questions!

We went or the week of Thanksgiving last year. It seemd the parks got a little busier each day heading up to Thanksgiving. We also avoided the parks on the actual day but I do remember Friday being fairly busy. There weren't any insane wait times that I recall. The weather was nice and we...

    Magical Moments

My 5 year old is a huge Snow White fan. She has dolls of Snow White, has dressed as Snow White for holloween, you get the idea. On our first day there she wanted to ride Snow White first but was out voted by her sisters and Pan was first and Snow White second. On our second day we had...

Any update on the final tests of the 4 year old who died after riding mission space?

My seven year old rode Mission Space last year and loved it. Alos my 7, 6, and just turned 5 year olds rode Test track and all loved it. They wanted to ride those rides so we let them. ToT and RnRC were to big and scary for them so they didn't ride. As long as they are old enough to...

    Disney Secrets/Little Known Facts Thread

AWESOME list. Thanks for sharing. One thing I'd like to add though. "PUSH" the talking trash can is not limited to EPCOT and Magic Kingdom. We saw him in Animal Kingdom at Conservation Station on the Sunday before Thanksgiving last year. I'm kicking myself now for not looking for more of...

    Six Flags Orlando?

Six flags may not have built any parks since the 70's but they have certainly bought parks that have been built since then (Fiesta Texas). Having said that I think it would be a big mistake for them to even try to compete with Universal and Disney. Talk about a no win situation.

With Its Theme Park Aging, Disney Faces New Challenges

It makes perfect sense to go into other markets. It is just not possible for most people to get to the Disney parks where they are now (in a global sense). Why wouldn't you want to spread the magic to places like Austrialia, South Korea, and South America. Look at it this way. The theme...

Meet and Greets Squared: Bye, Timekeeper?

When we went Last November there were meet and greets everywhere it seemed. If I had let my kids, they would have done nothing but get characters autographs all day long. If having 100 meet and greats around the park will keep the lines shorter for the rest of us then I say go for it. Let...

    EMH's are a joke!

Note to self. Don't waste the extra money staying at a resort to get the EMH benefit during Busy seasons. Sounds like a nightmare. Defenitly spend the extra money if we can go during off peak times.

An interesting take on the Mission Space incident at "Disneyland Park Florida"

That has to be the worst article that I've read since my Middle school paper had a story about the Choirs charity football game. Do they have theme parks in Russia? :hammer:

    i need advice!

When we went last year we invited both my parents and my In-laws. My in laws had to back out so we had to change some of the plans a few months out. Since it was our vacation, I did the planning, made the reservations, bought the park and airline tickets, everything. I then let my parents...

    WDW Admission Policy Change

Even if you have had your "Drivers Lisence" revoked you are still allowed to have an ID. It is only for identification purposes. Blind people can have ID's without having a Drivers lisence. No matter what you have done you still must have an ID if you are an adult. You can't open a bank...

    People are so ignorant...

My wife and kids went with my parents last November. On the plane ride to Orlando my Step Father asked why we bought tickets for 5 days. He thought we could do Magic Kingdom for a day and Epcot for a day. He was planning all kinds of other things to do during our week there. I told him he...

asinine CM's in WDW today (12/31/04)

On our trip this past Thanksgiving we only had one poor CM experience in 6 magical days at the parks. I also want to apologize to the wonderful CM's that my wife was incredibly rude to. She had a very short fuse because she was tired from walking. I blasted her for it which I probably...

    funniest overheard parent comment

My Family was at MGM last Tuesday and I overheard a lady talking to her husband when they entered the park that nothing looked like it did last time they were here. I saw them again a few hours later and overheard the lady teller her husband "that's where Back to the Future used to be. I know...
