Unlimited Fastpasses, Two Disney Hotels, and a Chef’s Table – It’s all Good Until Somebody Barfs

I just got back from the Happiest Place on Earth! And oh how I love it there. Disneyland is my home away from home. We spent so much time there when we lived in California and I have so many wonderful memories of it. I don’t get there near as often as I like anymore. So when some training was offered for travel agents, I knew I was there!

Who – Me of course! And Pam, Missy and Dani were coming for training too! There was a whole gaggle of Kingdom Konsultants! Well, is four a gaggle? Maybe not, but it was still fun! Here we all are from left to right Tammy, Missy, Pam and Dani:

When – August 22nd -August 27th

Where – 4 nights at the Grand Californian and one at the Disneyland Hotel

What – Some agent training and some fun!

Catch phrase of the trip – “It’s all good until somebody barfs.” Don’t worry, nobody actually barfed. :) More on that later…

When we reached the entrance to the Grand Californian we said goodbye and went our separate ways. Mukta was so incredibly nice. We all enjoyed dinner with her! Thank you for meeting us Mukta!!!

She is streetmosphere! She's a "resident'" of Beuna Vista Street.

I took some other pictures of her but I was trying not to be too obvious. I know she wouldn't have minded, but I didn't want to get drawn into the streetmosphere when I was supposed to be listening to our guide! :)

You can walk inside Carthay Theater and check it out? How did you know this? What are you a travel agent or something?

Thanks for the great pics! Only wish I had decided to explore more. I also loved the trolley cars and the traveling band in the 1920's ish car. Really added to the atmosphere.
DCA as a whole really blew me away! As I said in my report - it's like DHS on steroids. I would love to go back and eat at Carthay!

The lobby downstairs is open. There's a bar and lounge area that you don't need reservations for too! So while you probably can't go upstairs, you can get a feel for the atmosphere and see the priceless artwork downstairs.

It is like DHS on steroids! I totally agree!

Okay, I have finally had to accept that I can't get anymore done on this trip report for a while. We are leaving for our cruise tomorrow morning! :) But no worries, I promise to finish it! I can probably finish a lot of pictures on the train tomorrow. Then I'll have a cruise report soon after! Thank you so much for reading so far! :)
