EPCOT Center was amazing- including the U of E. When Disney started putting in "celebrities" in obvious on-screen roles in attractions, they lost something. Attractions became instantly dated, stuck in time. Save the celebrities for DHS. Get Epcot back to its original grandeur. This may be a good beginning...

Good to see someone in management has an idea of what Epcot Center is supposed to be about, though, at least in terms of it's history and original purpose.
What was the problem with the rainbow colors? It's nice to have the original scheme back but I don't mind the rainbow colors.
BTW-the EEA sign has been gone for a few years.

Just goes to show that the original Imagineers knew what they were doing with EPCOT Center's paint colors, pavilion logos, and Communicore aesthetic; even though this stuff seemed dated in the early 90s, in 2009—the REAL future—the original designs make sense, while the 90s-era crap looks like clutter from a bygone era.

Hooray for old-school Imagineering principles. :sohappy:

p.s. Wall-E and Eve are the ONLY characters who could seamlessly work in Future World, but I'd rather see them take over the Circle of Life film than give them a whole pavilion.

Now that's some blue-sky thinking that actually makes sense! From one "environmental fable" to another!

This is awesome!!!

I am sorry if this has already been hacked over, but do we have any ideas as to what is going on inside? Is is just general upkeep or more?

Thanks! :)

Oh, this is so exciting. I hope we are getting a new version of the ride: as in spinning prisms. I mean I loved the Ellen version but its almost 11 years old now and the show has been dated for about 8 years (if not more)? But if they do change it I will miss the theme music.

Same here! I am all for updating the UoE even though I love the show, but I walk around humming that music all the time.
