Very nice song . And ditto with what everyone has said. I will continue to pray for your father's health.tigger248 said:So very sorry that the surgery wasn't what you had hoped for. I will continue to pray for your family. I hope that the alternatives will be successful. Just keep the faith and remember "There can be miracles, when you believe. Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill. Who knows what miracles you can achieve. When you believe, somehow you will. You will when you believe." ("When You Believe" from The Prince of Egypt)

Oh yeah I know...I've never seen the movie but I have that song in my Mariah CD "#1's." It's always been a favorite of mine .tigger248 said:Thanks. It was a duet between Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston and also in the movie itself. They sang it right after Pharoah let the people go.
I've PMd you something that may be of use to you. Feel free to edit or request further suggestions from me.AliciaLuvzDizne said:i just need a little bit of quick advice

thank youFanofDinsey1981 said:I would suggest going to the dean of your college/university and discussing it with them. many times they are much more understanding, and are willing to go above a teachers/instructors head for extreme situations. I friend of mine had to because of her mother, who was ina very simmilar situation as you and your father. She was able to finish her classes over the summer with no penalty.
and I am sorry I have missed this thread until today, but my thoughts are with you. And my only advice is to keep positive. We have a neighbor who was given 2 months to live 2 years ago, because of tumors all over her body, but she kept positive ,and is still around today. They are literally taking out the tumors one by one, and she is slowly getting better. I hope they are doing everything for your father, and I put complete trust in the doctors and nurses attending to him.

im still really reved up from the conversation i just had so bare with me this might be a long one.
Today I was playing Gin on yahoo. Im absolutely addicted to that game. And anyways I like to chat while i play. So I was chatting with this guy while we were playing gin and for some reason we were so totally drawn to each other and ended up exchanging screen names. We ended up talking and talking and I mentioned how I wanted to move away but I dont want to leave my father because he is really ill. He said yeah thats why i moved home from san fran his dad had cancer.
HIS DAD HAS THE SAME EXACT THING AS MINE!!
His dad had an inoperable sarcoma tumor, a nasty expierence with chemo, 3 months to live...and then they went to Houston and this surgeon removed the tumor...2 YEARS ago!!
I have all the necesarry information and will be sharing it with my dad tommorow!! My leg has not stopped shaking...it feels like such a ray of hope! Maybe he can do without the radiation...if he can see this new dr and get them to work with us. i really hope this post makes sense!! i just wanted to share something GOOD for a change!
