I got the chance to see it a few days ago, just by chance, and liked it better than Casino Royale... but since I really didn't like Casino Royale, it would have been hard for me not to like Quantum of Solace more.
We are finally going to watch Casino Royale this evening..and then go and see Quantom of Solace this week...so I am hoping I enjoy them as these are not my type of movies..I do find Daniel Craig very se xy soooo....hopefully they will not be boring to me...or I may have to put The Notebook on to entertain me..:lookaroun

I would definitely put Quantum of Solace in my Top 20 for Bond movies, but since it's Bond #22, you can read into that what you will. Just know that my least favorite was "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," which is pretty much 99% of Bond fans least favorite, followed by Casino Royale(yes, I disliked it that much). I think I'd probably put QoS above the Dalton movies, though since I haven't watched those two in a while I can't say for certain. Maybe even above either "The World is Not Enough" or "Tomorrow Never Dies" since I know one of those two I didn't think was the best showing Brosnan could have had, but it's been a while since I've watched those as well. But I couldn't see myself placing it higher than anything else.

For some reason, I'm a huge fan of Casino Royale and can watch it whenever it's on tv or dvd. Not seen QOS yet, but really want to head out and see it.

On a side note, last movie I saw was Deception with Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor. Not a bad little movie but I can guarantee that alot of people will hate it.

I haven't seen all of the Bond films...but I'd have to say that Moonraker was my least favorite. I actually despised that film.

This weekend I saw "Zack & Miri Make a o"

OMG...Don't bring the youngin's to it...but talk about hilarious!!!!

I really dug both Casino and Quantum. Liked them a lot, probably since they more reflect Fleming's Bond, not the cartoon he sometimes came across as in the films.

Plus, I really like how they are making it a continuous story, what with one picking up just minutes after the other. Very nice.

I really liked Quantum! A good, solid, entertaining movie with plenty of action.:D

I really loved the opening titles BTW. The song was cool and retro sounding, the graphics were cool, much better than Casino Royal's opening song.

With that said, I have to rant here. If I see one more movie where the cinematographer graduated from the Bourne Ultimatum school of cinematography, I think I'm going to scream! I'm so tired of the camera shaking around so much during action scenes that you can barely see the neat choreography or even tell what is going on!

But with that said, I still really enjoyed the movie.

Exactly...Bond as he was first written. Flemming' Bond (as well as CR and QS) is a much more complex and emotional person than we have seen in most of the films. I think Dalton's Bond came closest up until now.

I agree, although for me it wasn't the camera shaking...it was the poor editing during action scenes that was my only complaint. It would be nice to have a shot last more than a second during a 5 minute sequence.

I saw the new Bond film the othe day. I did enjoy it for what it was. Thats not to say I enjoyed it as a Bond film, because it really didnt feel like one. The villian(or lack of) in this one disapointed me because he seemed just like an ordinary criminal off the street. I do like Daniel Craig though as the new bond. I was getting a little sick of Bronson.

I also really like how the stunts keep getting better and better as the films go on. I was a big fan of the flying scene in this film.

Hopefully Q or someone of the like is introduced in the next film, because I really miss all the gadgets.

Eh, it's just a fad that will pass.
Back in the day, everyone had to use a Steadicam...now they all want jerky. Whatever.

My thoughts and feelings exactly. It's a shame that this is lost on the critics who are tearing the film a new one.

We really liked Casino Royale..it was my first time seeing it and I surprisingly enjoyed it as I am not a fan of movies like this..:)

Daniel Craig is very beautiful so that helped..:)..I did cry though so it was a Dana movie in that aspect..lol

We will try to see Quantum of Solace this weekend if we get a sitter..I have heard good and bad about it so I will like to judge for myself..:)

Any reviews for "Twilight" yet? A few of my friends said they really enjoyed it and it--for the most part--stayed rather true to the book.

I don't know how they did it...but they made a vampire movie that doesn't interest me in the least.

Going by the trailers, it looks like a bad CW show dealing with Vampires (A cross between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed).

It's definitely not your average vampire story, that's for sure.

I saw Quantum of Solace last night.

I absolutely LOVED Casino Royale. I did not like QoS at all. I will hold off on purchasing the DVD and only purchase it if it's a continuous storyline for the next installment.

Dude...don't tarnish Buffy (or Angel for that matter) by mentioning it in the same sentence as Twilight.:fork:

I love vampire movies as much as anyone, heck I wrote one(anyone need to buy a script?.)

But, Twilight's vamps are barely even vamps. Just pale, brooding teens. :snore:

I'll pass and go see Bolt in 3D instead.
