We could go all aristocratic and wear big hats as we flounce thru the restaurant on the way to our private room...
I'm guessing that if they're serving each person five glasses of champagne, they're going to be pretty small glasses...LOL
Or maybe they'll give us full glasses and LOTS of food!!!
I'll wear a frou-frou hat if you'll drink your bubbly thru a straw! That would by funny as all heck! 'Specially if we all had twisty-Mickey straws!!!!
So I'm pretty sure I won't be able to go now
Oh nooooooooo....so sad! We're gonna hafta make a whole bunch of friends-on-a-stick to take along for photo ops. The participants in my room are somewhat still up in the air but I'm not stressing. As we get closer to the cruise things will firm up one way or another. You never know, the timing might work out for those who think it won't. It's still a looooong way off.... a lot can happen.....
I thought we made a deal that if any of us are beyond the "drunk happy" phase - they have to sleep on the balcony! I'm holding you do that if you down 1 too many mimosas! hahaha! I plan to have the same philosophy I have in Disney World - up early, out late. I can sleep at home. And hangovers do not make for early mornings.
I'm not going to lie - I will feel SUPER special and VIP-ish if we have a private room. I'll be walking into the restaurant like "excuse me, common folk - private room guests coming through!" hahaha!
Yes, sloppy drunks shall be banished to the verandah. I'm way too old and the bathrooms are way too small to be holding up someone's hair for them...no matter how much I adore them. Sloppies get the verandah, a bucket, and the best of luck. LOL!
OMG! I love the common-folk reference! My brother had us rolling in Gatlinburg, TN at Christmas when the traffic was so backed up getting into town. He kept referring to the people staying in Pigeon Forge as "The Commoners" who wished they were staying in Gatlinburg. Had me giggling like crazy. Silliness. So now we joke about "The Commoners" right along with "Golden Tickets". LOL!
Seriously. Any ideas where we can get our hands on a quantity of bendy Mickey straws??? Sippin' our bubbly thru straws would be hysterically classy! I'd do it!

Ooooh...you really need to scope out the grub. I only did Palo for brunch and I swear even being semi sick at my stomach it was like absolute bliss. I sooooo regret not doing Palo dinner!!! ((my stomach was still not okay))

Oh that's awesome!!!! I don't think I've ever drank beer from a straw...cheap vodka + Gatorade, yes, but not beer... I can prob'ly out-class your beer-thru-a-straw, sadly. We used to set our beer on the ground next to the campfire to warm it. Then you turn it on it's side, cut a hole on the side near the bottom, put your mouth over it, throw your head back & pop the top. I could slam 'em better than all the other girls!
That was a veeeery long time ago, tho. I don't think you could pay me to do that stuff anymore. LOL!Oh, wow! I'm no big OJ fan, normally. I don't care for wine or champagne on their own. But, combine the two and it's like ooooooooohhhh and I can't get enough! Plus, if you don't like it, I'll drink it for you! Ain't I a sweetheart?!

So, with Tracey's surprise cruise in September and the Fantasy cruise we're going on with my brother & his girls in May 2013 that makes the girls' cruise Disney cruise #5 for me! That means Castaway Club GOLD! Woohoooooo!!!!!

BTW, I was at DSW this weekend with my "it's your birthday-month" coupon and my rewards certificate, and I scored a fabulous Jessica Simpson floppy straw hat with a magnificent bow to wear to this champagne brunch as we flounce past the common folk to our VIP room...now we HAVE TO do it!!!

Oh I'm pretty sure I won't have trouble choking them down - something has to be pretty rotgut for me not to like it. And I do like OJ. I've always wanted to have a Kentucky Derby party and serve mimosas and mint juleps, just can't seem to get the scheduling right - always seems to be something going on that 1st Saturday in May. But I have sworn by all that's holy that this will be the year. It will good practice for the cruise brunch!!
HA! That "first Saturday in May" has been my wedding anniversary for the past 26 years--and the Kentucky Derby was actually run on my wedding day, which was in fact mentioned by the priest from the pulpit during the wedding mass!!! (Father Murphy was a bit of a gambler
