When they pulled the 18 wheeler they were not using the mighty putty chain link (they were simply lifting a cinder block with it) but rather 2 steel plates with holes drilled in them connected using mighty putty. That application is ideal for any high strength epoxy. You could do the same thing with JB Weld as well.Wait a minute.
