I felt the same way. When she was done, I said to my DH "She just KILLED one of my favorite Journey songs." I was shocked that the judges liked it.

ALRIGHT! I'm very happy with this top 12. :D

For one thing, hotness prevails! :sohappy: Go Kristy! ( who cares how far in the top 12 she makes it, as long as I get to look at her more )

And the bride of Sanjaya didn't make it! :sohappy: Ah, history will not repeat its self.

Anyways, looks like a terriffic top 12!

I was so happy about Joel too! what a jerk! He got a taste of his own medicine. he shouldn't be so shocked!!!!! :sohappy:

Oh spongescott you're killing me!! I didn't know I was going to be reading spoilers for Survivor on this thread!!!:eek::mad::lol:

Alright, I'll get over it. I'm glad he's gone too. I'll find out why starting in about 3 minutes.:)

I am happy with who left last night though I thought Kristy should have left instead of Asia'h..but Kristy may be the next one to go unless Chickeze bombs his next performance...:shrug:

I thought Kristy should have gone too....at least Asia'h had a personality. Oh well - I definitely think Kristy and Chikezie will go in the next two weeks.

Oh, and maybe Amanda Overmeyer will actually start looking at people now that she's in the top 12....it's somewhat unnerving to me that, even when she's singing, she's always looking down or to the side - she refuses to look directly at people. I know it sounds mean and harsh, but if you're going to play the 'rambunctious female rocker' role, you have to interact with the audience, not stare at the ground.

Talk about selling out this week. They did a total makeover on her. She actually smiled. And dare I say it, looked kinda cute.

I know what you mean. The judges were saying all this great stuff about her performance and she looked like someone had just died.
I liked how Simon was like, "you know, you CAN smile!"

So, I was totally fine with Kady, Luke, and Danny going home. (Actually quite pleased about Kady. She seemed like a total snot. I wish she had gone instead of Alaina last week.)
But I was devastated about Asia'h! I loved her!!

It will be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out. :lol:

They're turning the Top 12 loose on the Beatles catalog. There's hardly a Beatles song I don't like, but I'm sure a couple of the contestants will find one. My predictions:

Amanda - "Helter Skelter"
Brooke - "Across the Universe"
Carly - "Oh! Darling"
Chikezie - "Something"
David A - "Let It Be"
David C - "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
David H - "Help!"
Jason - "Michelle"
Kristy - "Eleanor Rigby"
Michael - "Lady Madonna"
Ramiele - "Yesterday"
Syesha - "Twist and Shout"

I doubt anyone will sing "I'm a Loser". :D
