Pretty dissapointing night for the girls, however that can be attributed to the flu. But the last few girls were really good though.

I agree, the first few were entirely forgettable...the last couple were much better.

Really, I couldn't believe the girl in the brown dress, Kady Malloy, I think it is? She did not take criticism well at all, scowling the whole time. Did anyone else notice her? She was still scowling at the end of the show when she was behind Ryan. I couldn't believe how disrespectful she was to the judges, even rolling her eyes (apparently she didn't realize she was on camera) when Paula stepped in and tried to defend her.

I really respect the performers who can take the good and the bad credit. This girl acted like a 4-year old. I would choose her and the first girl to go, although that one girl was so bad I couldn't believe it (I wish I could remember her name....I love oldies, and I didn't even know the song. Oh well).

Does anyone else think that the blond girl who always wears strips looks just like Evangeline Lilly from Lost?

I don't like the audition shows, I don't start watching until they get the top 24.

I like what I saw last night and tonight, there are a singinifcant number of very talented kids.

yes, kids...it seems they picked a lot more teenagers than in previous years.

I don't have any favorites yet. i probably won't narrow it down likethat until we get a top 10.

Yeah, she absolutly glared at them like she was going to beat the crap out of them. But I agreed with the judges though, she was just not good.

BTW, speaking of celebrity look-alikes, does anyone else think Brooke White looks like Bryce Dallas Howard? I can't get that out of my head.

No major losses tonite. I personally would've liked to have seen Chikezie leave rather than Colton, but other than that, no big losses.

Four forgettable performances, four boots. I have no arguments.

Agreed on both- while I thought for sure Chikezie was gone, I am ok with the results.

When it's the first BIG night, without past performances to help carry them, it's definitely a make-it-or-break-it situation, and some of them really dropped the ball.

I agree that some of the top 24 really did drop the ball, but I don't understand why they had a theme week for the first week - they should have been able to pick their own songs for the first week. That would have also helped us get a feeling for each contestant's personality.

Still, I'm not shocked or disappointed with who left. I still wanted that Kady girl to go, though. Her attitude and lack of respect for the judge's criticism really annoyed me.

Me too.
I prefered Colton over Chikezie.

I would have prefered that Brooke or Kady had gone in place of Joanne, but I guess it's okay.
Joanne seemed like she had a lot of talent with just an off night.
But, at this stage of the game, an off night is a bye-bye night.

I agree with you...I don't remember them ever having themes during this point of the show and I am not disappointed with any of the ones that left. I think Luke and Jason Yeager get another shot at it next week but if they don't step it up then they will be the next two to go.

I was slightly surprised that "Cheesy" Chekezie didn't get the boot... he was terrible! I think he'll be one of the next guys to go. I'm rooting for Amanda... I really like her style.

Yes, I think that would have made a BIG difference!

You know what I find ironic is that both Joanne and Colton were booted and they were the ones that were chosen over Kyle and Cardin. I wonder what would have happened if they were chosen instead of them. I thought Cardin was a really good singer... but apparantly the judges didn't think so..
