You know what I find ironic is that both Joanne and Colton were booted and they were the ones that were chosen over Kyle and Cardin. I wonder what would have happened if they were chosen instead of them. I thought Cardin was a really good singer... but apparantly the judges didn't think so..

Excellent point! I think that's why Simon was so harsh with Colton when he was booted...he really wanted Kyle, and did not mask the fact that he thought it was a mistake to choose Colton to begin with.

I noticed the exact same thing.

Four forgettable performances, four boots. I have no arguments.
That's the way I see it. I was sad they couldn't just slim it down to 12 this week. There are about 4-5 good guys and 4-5 good girls. Thre won't be too many surprises the next 2 weeks.

I have a soft spot for the Turtles. The guy did it good. The girl was not.

I still don't get why when EVERY WEEK they tell these kids to show energy and enjoy themselves, they pull out the stool and slow a good song to 1/2 it's normal speed an throw out the most depressing spin on the songs ever.

NO MORE SLOW SONGS. Doesn't mean you have to be super "bop"py, just do like they said. Enjoy yourself. They were spot on when they kept telling that one girl to loosen up and have fun. Every cut back to her she was geting MORE AND MORE SERIOUS and uptight.

I also LOVE the singers that say "I thought that's what you wanted". No, they want you to be yourself and see if that has the legs to carry you places. If you don't know who YOU are, you aren't going to handle trying to act like somebody else.

I liked the guy that did "All Right Now", but the rest didn't really wow me. The guy who smiled through "Long Train Running" and the guy who mangled "Killer Queen" are getting the boot.

The guy that did "Killer Queen" looks like the love child of Hugh Jackman and Luke Perry.

Oh, and there is no doubt in my mind that David wins.

Amazing what a little humble pie can do to make America LOVE you.

I feel kind of bad for Jason Yeager. Simon was really pretty mean to him. I didn't care for his song last night, but on the first week when he sang Moon River, I thought it was very beautiful. I absolutely love that song though. I suppose it could have been viewed as boring, but I thought it sounded beautiful nonetheless.

Am I the only one that wasn't wow-ed away by David's performance at the end...? I thought it was okay, but while I was listening to it I was kind of like... "eh:shrug:." The judges ADORED it though. I definitely think he has the most talent of the guys, but that song just didn't do it for me...

David will have every teenage girl in the country voting for him. The girls at my dance studio think he is just the cutest. And I know they vote multiple times . . . can't wait to see what the girls do on tonight's show.

LOL I think he is just the cutest and I am 25 years old!
I wouldn't say his perfomance last night was the best ever, but I really enjoyed it and I enjoy him as a person. I hope he does well, I think he really derserves it.
And I do think he is the best 17 year old the show has ever had. He does have a very mature voice for that age.

I agree with you and I am twice your age  He is very talented and, at this point in the competition, I would have no problem if he won.

This is the order of how I liked them last night

David A
David Cook
David Hernandez
Michael Johns
Jason Castro
Danny
Chickeze
Luke
Robbie
Jason Yeager

The 4 in bold will probably be the 4 to go home in the next 2 weeks...unless the others do bad next week...

I really don't like David Cook...

Me either
And I like Jason Yeager, I feel bad that Simon was so mean to him. But I don't think he is one of the strongest. Still like him though.

I thought Jason Castro was so cute last night. I liked the guitar and the song choice, so I completely disagreed with the judges on that one.

They are all pretty good this year. I think it is a hard choice.
