Wow I don't get fake from him at all. He seems to be very down to earth to me and truly honored to be there. I will have to pay more attention as the competition goes on though.

I've never watched American Idol before this season :o, but I think David is the cutest and most talented 17-year-old going! (And I'm waaaaaaay older than he is.) :ROFLOL:

Boy, they really want that chick-dude to be the next Ross the Intern. Um, he's not. He's sassy, but not funny sassy. And it isn't cute. He's a snotty little girl. Oh well.

Overall the girls were horrible tonight...very bad song selections...

This is the order that I like them in:

Carly
Brooke
Alaina
Syesha
Ramiele
Asia'h
Alexandria
Kristy
Kady
Amanda(I am disappointed in her performance tonight...she was one of my favoites..but she made me cringe)

I think Kristy and Kady need to go tomorrow and give Amanda another chance...:shrug:

It was a weird show tonight. They usually sequence the contestants such that they get a little better as the show goes on, and the last one is outstanding. Tonight, the show started off strong with the first four, then quickly went downhill. The last four were a mess.

This is the first week I was really impressed with Carly. She pulled off "Crazy on You", and that's not easy.

The girl with the perpetual sour face who can't take criticism, Kady, must go.

Amanda deserves to go for throwing her bluesy growl at a sweet-voiced Kansas number "Carry on My Wayward Son". Incredibly bad song choice. She should've gone with Boz Scaggs or Bonnie Tyler or ZZ Top.

Amanda's song has to be one of the worst vocals I've ever seen on AI. We rewound the DVR just to watch the train wreck once again. I can't stand her.

Carly was the only one I really liked a lot. The girl with the guitar who sang "You're So Vain" I had to fast forward through. (Vern has to watch Big Brother live). I can't believe the judges liked her song that much.

I don't like her either. I hate that I didn't get to see it last night. My DD had a big test today and we had to study for it last night. You would think that these teachers wouldn't give a test on the day after AI. (just kidding!)

Brooke sounded nice, but I don't think she is at all the one to beat. The song fit her voice but not once during it did I think to myself, "This is outstanding!" She doesn't have a large enough range for this competition. Actually, I don't think any of the girls even have a chance at winning.
Not a great group of girls this time, but a really great group of guys.
