I am SO with you on that. From what I've heard...this year's group really is pretty talented. Although of course, there are a few people who we actually haven't heard sing, so we don't know 100%.

The best part about the top 24 is that we have a top 24 now. The audition shows drag on a little too long. The Hollywood show(s) are good, but they end on the worst note: the Chair show. The fakeouts are annoying, there's very little singing, and there's way too much crying. Although, I did like the guy who took the bad news well ("Now I won't miss turkey season" heh).

I am excited this year. I think that there is real talent in this years show.

I,too, love Simon.
He's almost always right, despite what we want to think.
This year is going to be great compared to the past two years.
They haven't had much talent, aside from Chris Daughtry and maybe one or two others.
Well apparently a good number of the top 24 has already had record deals before...:dazzle:

I don't know if I have a problem with that or not. I mean, these people are talented. And after last years debacle, I can see wanting the best talent out there. And these are still people who are people you could see on the street, it's not like they're already star, stars.
So, I think I'm ok with the develpment, at least at the moment. I could, of course, change my mind.

What's wrong with saying that would be a TV Tune Out? That's like going to black for 10 seconds or dropping out audio. It was not good.

Wow, this has been a train wreck tonight. Aussie guy is pretty fun. I like the Kiddo though. It's always the ones that sing effortlessly that are the best. The guy with the chick hair that sang the 90210 song where Brenda, Kelly, and Emily Valentine sang in the black dresses and slicked hair was HORRIBLE. He took a doo-wapie fun song and forgot to release the emergency break.

Breaking up is hard to do. That's the one. That sucked. Actually the last 2 were pretty good. And David. The rest can all bite their suicide pills now.

This was a great show tonite. Alot of the guys show much promise. I'm definately pulling for David Archuleta, he was great and I love his personality.
The worst were probably Chikezie ( sp? ) and Danny Noreiga.

What I don't get about the guys is how many of them look like chicks. It's not just one; it's like half of them. I'm picking David Archuletta (the 16-year old) as the "Judges' Pet" for the season. Randy/Paula/Simon were way over-effusive with what was, in my estimation, a pretty average to crappy performance.
Best performance of the night: The guy with the guitar singing "Daydream".

eh.. a little disappointing for me...I think all the David's did well. Jason Castro, Michael Johns and Robbie Carrico were good also. The two going home are probably Garrett and Luke...they were a snoozefest...:snore: Danny and Colton weren't that great either...

Pretty dissapointing night for the girls, however that can be attibuted to the flu. But the last few girls were really good though.
In the mean time, I need to buy myself some wash-up liquid...
