What would Walt Disney think of the present day Magic Kingdom?

I do not presume to be as insightful or brilliant as Mr. Disney. And I hesitate to subdue my humility to respond, but I will. First, I believe he might be pleased with the construction. It was his wish that the parks would keep from becoming stagnant. Second, he might remind the executives to...

Chances Pirates Land Makes it to USA

So...you're saying we still have a chance...? Yes!

Have you ever come across an Alligator on your Disney trip?

Two. One in a parking lot at Dixie Landings; the second in a canal visible along the Magic Kingdom to EPCOT Monorail line. The one at Dixie generated a bunch of interest with Disney Security.

    RapidFill Cost?

This rumor from years back became true? The 5th gate cannot be far behind... I think it's worth it if, and this is a big IF, Disney offers unique restort mugs like in the olden days. I'd purchase two each trip from different resorts if the mugs were unique. I believe the result of this will...

More orange Dole Whip, less trying to mess with a classic part of the Magic Kingdom.

    AVATAR progress

This is how I like to imagine all of TWDC working...even the Board types. Everyone walking around in big-a** rooms all agog waiting to release projects and merchandise to impress me with Mickey's magic.

    Norway pavilion 25 years

I enjoy the Norway Pavilion. The slightly antiquated ambiance lends a quaint, living time-capsuley feel.

    Flies. Lots of Flies.

Flies or no flies, as I started this thread there was real potential for it to become a knock-down drag-out flame-war. Then everyone went all sensible with giant snails, Muppets and "A Bugs Life"... What happened to you Internetz?

    Club Cool

Place me in the "not a cool idea" group. Imagine walking up to one of the other soda fountain locations and filling up a bottle of any size: 1-2 liter, 20oz, 16oz, etc. I think it falls into the theft category. My stance on filling a same-trip resort mug from AS-Movies while visiting AKL is...

I believe Disney Research refers to that as Area 71.

    Geocaching in Disneyworld.

Agreed. Leaving small-ish, unattended packages around a densely populated area seems like a bad idea. Luckily, Imagineering placed plenty of Hidden Mickey's around...
