Seasonal beer on tap at new World Showcase kiosks?

Early in the summer (I think around Memorial Day), they were also selling Shock Top, a Belgian White by Anheuser-Busch at the AA Kiosk. Not a terrible offering, but not really my cup o' tea either.

Spaceship Earth - my opinions of the refurb - very very dissapointing

I didnt read all 10 pages so this might have already been mentioned. The descent seemed to me to be just unfinished. The "starry section" was definitely tarped--yes, I reached out and touched them--so it seems there may be more to come up there. Overall I was not overwhelmed by the return but...

VIP groups at EPCOT tonight 12/8

Live post from EPCOT. Anyone know what's going on tonight (12/8) that would bring in a bunch of folks in suits and open up the Millennium Tent?

    Wondering about Wonders

New Soarin' queue is supposed to be interactive. The screens are guided by guest interaction and allow the guests to virtually enjoy several different landscapes ... and sometimes see what happens when those landscapes collide. (Snowballs in the desert anyone?)

    Leave a Legacy Merchandise Removal

That was for the demo of the display located on the mirror column at SSE. The sales area is located to the right of that and is still operational, as far as I know -- though, if I'm reading this right, that should be what comes down next. After that, it's only a short step to "re-positioning" of...

    Segway tour

The Segway exhibit in Innoventions is free. This exhibit allows you to ride a Segway for about 2 minutes, following a forward-and-back track, and get some pics while doing it. There is a more intensive tour called Around the World at Epcot, lasting 2 hours, which costs $85 per person. You get...

    Early risers

Also, by getting to the parks before opening, you will get the opportunity to participate in the morning rope-drop ceremonies. MK has a pretty spectacular park opening ceremony and I try to make sure my group gets up early at least one day to do it. Just another little bit of Disney magic!

    twinkle lights and more!

All that fuss over such little things and no one mentioned the new LED tip board scheduled for Future World? tsk tsk.

    Want Disneys website fixed?

Site seems to work just fine for me. Refurbs are correctly dated and hours show as they should. Even the load time is nonexistant. Has anyone else checked the site recently to see if it's back to normal for others? *EDIT* Found at least 1 flaw: The map is still not loading for me.

    2 trips within 7 monthes.

I'm actually planning a 3rd trip for 07 myself. :king: The way I see it, *financially* it makes more sense to get an annual pass if there's a chance you'll spend more than 10 days at WDW in a given year. I'm sure there's a breakdown somewhere, but that sounds about right to me.

    WDW vs Dubailand

I'm not one for reading all seven pages above, so excuse me if this has already been said. Guest service and location aside, let's not forget the branding that has gone into the Disney Parks. Dubailand won't have the draw of getting to meet your favorite cartoon characters or see your favorite...

Phone In the Market House Removed

Per my guide on the Keys to the Kingdom tour two years ago, the step is a rumor. The fencing is to protect it from those guests who hear the rumor and sprint to the MK to chip off a piece for their own collections.

    Epcot / Germany River Ride

Good ideas. Sadly, your examples are not necessarily on point as, if I remember correctly, both pavilions above are operated by corporations in their respective countries. I know Mitsukoshi runs Japan at least.

Six Flags sells 7 of its parks.....

... the "Six Flags" park in Houston, Tx, has been a vacant lot for over a year now. They bulldozed that thing long ago ...

    Small update

I've heard HS Musical will be a sort of a traveling pep rally. Supposedly the performers will carry a portable stage with them and do their act almost parade style -- drop the stage, do a song or two, pick up and move up further down before dropping the stage again. Came from a CM so not sure...

EPCOT failed - Epcot is great!

Isn't this sinkhole the one that became the lake out there? Or am I confusing that with something else? Well, in an ideal world, that's how it should be. But we have to recognize that most people don't want to be spoon-fed information without having a effective medium of conveying that...

Say "NO!" to Pixie Dust pins!

Is it cynical of me to think the only reason they're giving out the pins anyway is to make the ordinary folk who have NO shot of winning any of the really good prizes feel special? "Sorry, you're not going to win a worldwide vacation or a free lifetime DVC membership. But here's a nice...

EPCOT failed - Epcot is great!

    A) With Disney, it's rarely just about what the "guests" want. Just consider their policy on releasing their films to the public. Walt was never one to pander to the will of the masses -- everything, from films to marketing to theming of the parks, was a reflection of what *he* wanted us...
