My wife has "requested" that we spend 1 day around the pool and not go to the park but I just can't do it. I feel like a kid that lives across the street from the fair and not being able to go.
Going to Disney and not going to the park is like a kiss without a hug! :D
We have had a balcony at Wilderness, Poly, Beach, and Yacht Club. The best view by far was the deluxe room at the Yacht with the balcony looking out with the lighthouse just to the left. Awesome.
1. Our 16 year old daughter slept on the sofa last year and did not complain.
2. Depending on what time you are leaving, the wait for the bus may be 1-20 minutes. Monorail is way more scenic.
We will be back there in less than one week! :sohappy:
Beach Club rooms are excellent and do not need a refurb. We stayed there last year and will be there again in 8 days! :sohappy:
However, we did receive a letter from Disney last week stating the slide and part of the pool will be refurbed starting on April 9 to late in April. They will...
Not that weird at all. We have stayed at quite a few of the resorts and she doesn't want to stay at the GF. She says it lacks the Disney feel the others have and is just too stuffy.
We have 5 and our fav is Yacht Club followed by Beach Club and Poly.
I've wondered this myself. I believe the issue is with the waterway to the West of the park where they "park" some of the floats. It's Disney though, they could come up with a bridge of some sort!
Ah, the dreaded stroller on the bus. I'm glad those days are over for me. The youngest is now 9 and not having the stroller really makes things easier. However, I end up carrying a pink Princess backpack most of the time.
