PHOTOS - Town Square Theater signage added to the Main Street Exposition Hall

I like the sign and think it is less overdone that the prior "Exposition Hall" signage...hopefully this will be it! I'm also hoping the interior is a lot less chaotic than it has been in recent years.

    New Magic Kingdom Attraction?

The Magic Kingdom opened in 1971, not 1970.

Who has seen Cirque du Soleil-La Nouba?

We went with my mom and her fiancee, who are both older adults and we all loved it. I would definitely recommend it. I had never been to a Cirque show before and thought it a bit weird at first, but it totally hooked me in. Definitely worth the money, especially when you consider the talent and...

When was the wooden pathway added at the edge of Liberty Square/Frontierland....

I'm pretty sure the path was added in '92 as part of the Splash Mountain construction. It was meant to ease pedestrian traffic due to the opening of a new "E" ticket, plus the fact that the MK parade route runs right through the main Frontierland/LS walkway.

    DLP's Cinemaique coming to Florida?

CineMagique was great. Animagique shouldn't even be running in Paris. It was really, really disappointing (and I'm usually pretty easy to please at the Disney parks).

    Brer Fox is back!

I've seen Brer Rabbit out and about a few times...this past December he and Brer Bear were out at night in front of the Riverboat Landing. They were also in the Christmas Parades at both the MK and Animal Kingdom. I've also taken a pic with Brer Rabbit at Camp MinnieMickey at Animal Kingdom (a...

tomm4004....the service was fine. We waited a few minutes for a server, but nothing out of the ordinary. The food was delivered quickly and our hostess was very polite.

    WS Japanese resturant

The Matsunoma Lounge, which overlooks the lagoon is used as additional seating when the actual space Tempura Kiku uses is full. We were seated there for lunch in December. It's a beautiful little room and the views are great.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority now has a Sponsor

Long-Gone Sponsors at MK, not already mentioned: Grand Prix Raceway was sponsored by Goodyear. Circle-Vision was sponsored by Monsanto, later Black and Decker "it's a small world" was sponsored by Kodak (early '80s) and Mattel in the early '90s. Tomorrowland Terrace was hosted by Coca-Cola...

World of Disney store in NYC

I haven't been there yet but have friends who work there(I worked at that location for several years when it was a Disney Store/Walt Disney Gallery). It is now run by WDW, as opposed to the Disney Stores. Apparently they carry similar merchandise as the World of Disney stores in WDW and...

MK/Epcot News & Photos: Stitch, CoP Glitch, Fig construction, SURPRISES!, & firetruck

I don't post too often on here, but I wanted to say "thanks!" for all the great updates you provide. I'm glad to see they will be using the old camera center space for something...and a Figment meet-and-greet should be fun (if only we can get them to do something with the original Image Works...

    Disney Library

I have an enormous library of Disney books...here are some excellent ones in the following topics (some may be out of print, so check out ebay and second-hand bookstores): Disneyland/WDW: Disneyland: Inside Story by Randy Bright Designing Disney Theme Parks: the Architecture of Reassurance...

MK's Package Pickup moving to Gallery!!

They should put the bank back there! I always thought is was a bad spot for a shop...most people miss it on the way in and out. It's better to have a service, like package pick-up there instead.

    Pirates' Demise?????

I would think the huge debt load that Disney is carrying right now would keep any potential hostile suitors away (which goes along with the fact that it is still a HUGE company worth quite a bit (despite the recent stock plunge). Besides, hardly any other company (especially entertainment ones)...

    Big Animal Kingdom E-ride

I think Animal Kingdom can use BOTH Beastly Kingdom and an E-ticket in Asia...but that's just me.

    MGM news

James Bond is owned by MGM (UA is part of MGM), though a company called Danjak (may be wrong spelling) is also involved. I believe they represent the family of the author who created the character.
