In my opinion, the GF has the best Disney theme going! I like the suddle hints of Disney woven into the theming and how it's not in your face so to speak. Perhaps this is because the GF is my all time favorite resort and reminds me of my first times to Disney.

Just being at the Grand Floridian reminds me of my first few times to Disney. No other resort holds that special place in my heart.

I would stay at the GF every time because I feel at home. But, I also love the Boardwalk.

I would stay at the GF or Contemporary just for the convenience factor that they are close and not a big hike to get back to.

I have been saying that Peter Pan needs a rehab from probably the first or second time I went to Disney.

I won't stay at the values. I primarily stay at the deluxes because it doesn't make since to spend my DVC points on a value or even moderate.

The bus to goes to the GF includes the Poly/Contemporary or Wilderness Lodge. GF is the last stop notoriously. I always laugh, the people that pay the most money get catered to last.

If you don't want say a villa at one of the DVC resorts, your best bet is a deluxe resort as their rooms are much larger. I would recommend one of the monorail resorts or Yacht/Beach Club 94 Boardwalk (whatever is more your style.) My personal favorite is the Grand Floridian, and it sounds like...

In the main lobby, that is true. But the guestroom buildings have the ScentWave system and they are little black fans underneath the tables as you walk into the foyer.

HANDS DOWN!!! pick the Grand Floridian. All the renovations will be completed by then, it's my personal favorite, and the service is just a step up from all of the other deluxe resorts (it is the flagship resort, of course.)

It definitely increases your chances. My cousin was the convention center manager at the Grand Floridian for awhile and every time we would go to Disney, I would book a garden view room there but "magically" we always got the gold key and a ride to Sugar Loaf!

Do they have them at Bay Lake Tower yet?

I am excited for my favorite hotel to get a big facelift but I have reservations there in October and I don't know what to do!

Yes and the values. 1) it doesn't make since because I am a DVC member and 2) I just don't have any desire to stay at those resorts! I would visit the Poly any day, but I would never stay there. I am a GF, Boardwalk, and Beach Club person.

Boardwalk is awesome. I didn't love Wilderness Lodge, but it wasn't bad by any means.
