Looooveeed this.

Wasn't a huge fan of the BIG contrast on the top/bottom of the cake. Right idea, not the best execution IMO.

But still amazing, don't get me wrong.

Loved it, hahah. Loved Morrow being a weenie on BTM :) Don't blame him, though.. you can get some solid whiplash on that ride.

I loved the episode! I noticed the empty train too and the "private" M&Gs!

How much do one of those birthday parties cost?

I never knew he was at the F&W festival... I wonder did anybody attend that event from WDWMagic!?!

You could tell that they were getting the VIP tour, as the shadows were very long, meaning they probably did some filming prior to official opening (nothing wrong with that, they had a t.v. show to make). Good show (but per usual they had to increase the drama, a bit, with looking for utensils, finding the faundant locked, etc., etc.); but that's show business. :)

And this particular show seems to reach for the ratings. I mean, you go to WDW for vacation and "just happen" to have an entire camera crew with them. You might argue it was for the F&W festival but the show is called "Cake Boss" after all. And a private M&G was planned before he "knew" about the cake. His daughter was very well rehearsed too and notice how she suddenly turned all of her attention away from Ariel toward her dad. Not a bad episode but I'm just saying it seemed like it was all planned well out in advance to make it look like he had to make a cake on the spur of the moment.

I caught the replay last night on TLC. The cake they made was pretty impressive. Definitely a lot of work to get all that detail together.

I watch that show every once and a while but made sure I caught this episode...

Love Cake Boss... I DVR'ed it and just got finished watching it! Thought the Castle was amazing... The faces on the princesses, not so much! Overall amazing cake! Lucky little girl... My son was making comments the the entire time watching, saying I wish I was In WDW... I wish we had a trip planned, etc... Little does he know, I booked our trip last night for December!!! :xmas:

I'll see you down there! :xmas:

I thought some of the faces (Mulan's really) were okay. The castle itself looked great! If think if he had been in his own kitchen and not crunched for so much time that he might have been able to absolutely nail it!

Ofcourse it was scripted, everything on TV is. The only TRUE reality tv is COPS and even that we don't know.

Not only that, but did anyone else notice the private princess meet-and-greets? Reminds me a my friend's FaceBook status last night after doing an 8-hour character attendent shift. His managers wanted all of the guest numbers high but they also bumped in with their own private meet-and-greets with their families.

lol Hubby and I noticed that as well...Yes the park "seemed " quite dead...And during the Food and Wine festival!

I love the Cake Boss though....LOve his accent, although not to far off from ours(we're in RI)

We leave December 5th and right now are booked at Old Key West. We are working on changing our DVC points around to stay at the Wilderness Lodge though. It's turned into our new favorite!

The show was decent but that dude was REALLY annoying..."My Princess, my princess, my princess" Nobody said anything about his obnoxiously fat son who was eating things that he had NO clue what they were....
