The new spiel for the TTA/PeopleMover is very similar to the pre-1994 spiel is purely a tour of Tomorrowland. All Stitch, Mickey, Buzz, and Roz do on the spiel is give a little blurb when you're riding by their location. Its nothing to be disappointed in, nor anything that needs to change. Its very tastefully done and does not hinder the TTA experience in any way.

Right. For some reason some posters and some bloggers think they sound smart if they are cynical about any changes.

It has become fashionable these days for people to think themselves intelligent by being overly cynical. Cynacism is not an indicator of intelligence. In fact, it is a device used most often by those who can't formulate a decent argument to bolster their opinions.

The new narration is fine. What the TTA needs is more set pieces especially inside Space Mountain.

Alright, calm down everyone. I have some breaking news (as of last month). Someone has lost a hat on TTA, and they are very, very sad. Why? Because it's probably some kid who thinks she is a princess.

Princesses have to learn at an early age that TTA brings heartache and woe. If its not the spiel its the track that can eat a hat.

Just an idea I recently had but I think it would be nice if they added some retro-future-steampunk "infrastructure" that is themed to a spacecraft launch facility. You see a bit of this type "infrastructure" lightly applied around TL but it would be cool if they layered it on heavier inside the mountain and along the rather dull TTA path. IMO.

I just watched one of the on-ride videos and chalk me up on the tally board as against the new audio. It sounds like they handed the guide map to a voiceover actor and had him start reading. I am actually OK with the character voices. The old narrations had so much heart and gave the ride a good theme. They should least bring back the announcements like "Now approaching...", the traffic report, and the passenger paging. Even though the voice over has changed they could still work in those classic announcements and maybe some new ones.

Maybe it's nothing like that jt04. I think it's just a matter of preference. Some folks like the old spiel, and some folks like the new one. Nothing more to it than that.

Where does corporate sycophancy stand on the scale of intelligence indicators? Thing is I wasn’t cynical when I was 15 either. :shrug:

I agree, but they way people are reacting, you would think the new narration was done by Hitler and included an animatronic of Stitch taking a dump on the Epcot model.
