And then peaced, with the last minute decision to go to EPCOT to finish the World Showcase at Lauren's suggestion. Good life decisions. Nothing like a four park day. We arrived at 330, and shortly after a security guard took my glasses from ITTBAB.. Just mine =( No one else's.
WAITIN’
FIESTA!
WHO IS NORWAY?
The Electric Umbrella was our food stop, and Erica, Paige and I went all out.. purchasing the child’s chicken nuggets. It’s nice to get carrot sticks or grapes instead of something else. I was a big fan of that. We also got some candy at Mouse Gear before heading out.
Our fourth park of the day, HS, was ready for us at 515. After a half hour wait at the RnRC, followed by a half hour wait at the Tower we were ready to sit down. We were LOVING life in these lines.. mostly the one for the RnRC.. Lauren and Paige were just hilarious, I was sitting on the ground, and Erica was pretending we didn't exist. Essentially, we caused a scene, and the couple in front of us were NOT impressed. Whutev.
SEWWWW TERRIFIED
INAPPROPRIATEEE, sorry.
People were lined up for Fantasmic! at 7PM. We were planning on staying, but assumed that they were only waiting for the primo seats and we wouldn’t have to worry. The plan was to take off right before the end, hitting the busses before they got full anyway.
This was about the time that Paige called home, and Lauren decided that she was okay to miss the fireworks. She took off to DTD for some final shopping, and the three of us got in the single riders line for the RnRC. The wait was probably 25 minutes, but we were happy to get it in one more time. However, I had a little bit of a fit when a couple in the single riders line hopped the rope so they could sit together. I believe I said something along the lines of "DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN". Super, super unimpressed. Then a father did it with his son. WHAT ARE YOU TEACHING YOUR CHILD WHEN YOU DO THAT. I hope he grows up to be a delinquent. For shame. Anyway, I sat next to a rather awkward teenage boy with Prince Charming hair that wasn’t too interested in chatting. Too bad for him, I talked his ear off.
By the time we escaped this line we were on an roller coaster high, but still exhausted from our four park day. Deciding it was time to secure an easy escape seat for Fantasmic!, we headed toward the now non-existant line. It was non-existant because it was standing room only. Bummer. There was another show at 10:30PM but there was no way we were making that. We said goodbye to the Studios and made the trek to the bus.
We were just pulling in to our stop when the bus for the Grand Floridian/Contemporary/Polynesian came around the bend. Somehow securing my second wind, I suggested we try to make it to MK for Wishes by bus/monorail. Paige passed, but Erica and I made the sprint and our highly unclassy selves took a seat among those more put together. It was 845 when we hit the Poly, and there was NO way we were making Wishes. We stopped, I hauled her out of her seat, and we went to locate the elusive beach to have a romantic fireworks date in the sand (like Nicole and Luke minus the BFF and little sister). This, by the way, is something I never would have thought to do before frequenting these forums.. so merci.
AWWW, DATESSSSS
A child came up asking if alligators would hurt you. I said I would not pet one. Her mom came over and pulled her away.. we laughed, thinking she was joking. Nope. A very friendly man came over and told us that there was, in fact, an alligator in the water and suggested we not go near the H2O. Not a problem. One eye on Wishes, one eye on the little baby reptile with giant teeth.
Took a cab back to Pop, worth the 8$ each, and met up with the girls in the food court. I finally got my ice cream (cookies and cream and mint chocolate chip) and we packed up our things for our second vaca..
The Disney Wonder.
