I have been hearing around that snow is hitting disney today? is this true?

Also what does this mean for the parks, that they have a lot of outside attractions, maybe they should rethink and put more indoor attractions? Like The 2 waterparks have been losing alot of money from this.

The Snow has come and gone. It did fall as Snow and then changed to Sleet and Rain during the half-marathon.

For the one time in a million this happens? No.

Blizzard Beach regularly closes at this time of year due to cold weather.

Makes sense that the water parks would close is bad weather, but thinking about more indoor attractions seems like overkill.. not to mention that waiting outside when it's chilly isn't going to hurt anyone.

Just sayin'.

You do realize that this does not happen often at all... right?

There really isn't much to see. Nothing is sticking and the flakes were probably too small to see on a camera. Most of it is over for the day anyways.

The Weather Channel was talking about snow at Disney World this morning, then changing over to rain. I would guess that it will be harder on the plants, and animals than people. The people can go indoors, where the plants are kind of rooted in spot.

Obviously this is a rarity in Orlando, but it snows pretty regularly in Paris and Tokyo, no? Do they have noticeably fewer outdoor attractions in those places?

Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris look beautiful when covered by snow. If the Japanese and French aren't afraid of a little snow on their Disneylands, the Floridians shouldn't be afraid either, as weird as it is for it to snow in Orlando.

It might snow tonight in Naples (Southwest Florida) and I'm SO ECITED. It's been a rainy day so far, so there's hope.

Only bad part is it won't be on the ground.
