Snow to Hit Disney today?

It might snow tonight in Naples (Southwest Florida) and I'm SO ECITED. It's been a rainy day so far, so there's hope.

Only bad part is it won't be on the ground.

Fortunately, I live in Naples. :D

I promise to get some good pics if it does.

Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris look beautiful when covered by snow. If the Japanese and French aren't afraid of a little snow on their Disneylands, the Floridians shouldn't be afraid either, as weird as it is for it to snow in Orlando.

Except they don't know how to drive or work in snow/ice, and the parks aren't designed for cold/snow like Paris/Tokyo are...

The Save Pleasure Island blog has a picture of the snow this morning on top of T-Rexes restaurant.

:ROFLOL:

Here's the picture in question.

And here's another of guests walking Saturday morning from Pleasure Island to West side.

Yeah, and I'll show you some pictures of a snowy mountaintop on Everest.

I just relish in the fact that my Dec 11-16 trip a few weeks ago to WDW, Universal and SeaWorld were the last three 80-plus degree days for December (Dec 13 86, Dec 14 85 and Dec 15 84).

DANG IT! IT SNOWS THE DAY RIGHT AFTER I LEAVE AND WHEN I CAME BACK TO ATLANTA, THE SNOW WAS MELTING. WHEN I LIVED IN LA, IT NEVER SNOWED!:cry::cry::fork::fork:

I'm about a half hour north of Atlanta, and it was on the ground (and roads) for a day and a half here. I almost wound up planting my bumper in a Stop sign coming home Thursday night.

Whereabouts do you live here?

No way! Are you a teen? I might be going to school with you :lookaroun... I live near PRHS.

 Funny. I'm a Naples High kid, actually. (I'm actually zoned for Lely though)

My friend knows someone from PRHS.

Wasn't snow but ice and ice/rain that was falling all night. I was working a water stop behind Splash Mountain all night then had the pleasure of walking back to Epcot in that miserable weather. :(

This weather is wretched. 42 right now in my corner of SoFla and raining. Ain't gonna snow and shouldn't sleet, but ice could be an issue on the roads overnight. I just worry about the homeless and people burning their homes down with space heaters (happens everytime a cold spell hits sadly) ... and the citrus and veggie farmers as this could be devastating to them.

Was reading a wire story on the weird weather. Suffice to say a lot of people's magical WDW (and FLA) vacations are really s__________g. Wonder how many folks expect refunds because Disney controls the weather.

I actually went out in it for a bit and it didn't bother me that much, but I was layered ... and not at a theme park.

I'd love to see DLP in snow. WDW? No.

LOL, Wdw1974 I don't think you have a post on WDWMagic 100% positive. It's always negative in some way.

Your last post reminds me of a Debbie Downer response on SNL.

I would love to see it snow in Naples, just dont think that will happen, the rain has moved out fo the night and not to sure if it will get cold enough tonight. You can count on frost/ice on cars, lawns, grass and yes alot of dead iguanas! I have 2 iguanas that run through my backyard, they are about 4 feet long, a little unnerving.
