Snow to Hit Disney today?

The Miami Herald has posted a video of some animal resue people telling people how to save the iguanas and re-relase them into the wild to reek havoc on indigenous plants and animals. Some of which are highly endangered. These people are beyond ignorant to the point of being completely detached from reality. I'm afraid for the future.

OK- I'm done ranting about saving the planet. Thank mother nature for global cooling.
My parents have a beach house in the Fort Myers area and those things are considered a menance there!

I was on Main Street at 6am when they opened for us Marathon cheerers. It was about 6:15 and the lights were on, the music was playing, and there were not very many people there at all. Then the snow/sleet started, and it was a moment I will never forget (I am a Floridian). It was totally cool to see real snow on Main Street!
I bet that was awesome! I am like you a true floridian and to see the sleet was really strange!

Jt, what is your proffession? And why does Bambi want to kill the pythons? Are you some kind of reptilian expert?

Mercenary and professional dragon slayer.
Bambi lives by the motto, "Kill or be Killed". Something to do with a relatives tragic death or so goes the rumor.
No, but I did meet Bill Haast once.

Hopefully this weekend has solved their problem. :lookaroun

Youn are very unique Jt, very.

I saw an iguana once in a tree when I was little once... I shipped myself and screamed my bass off. It was so random to see them in Florida.

Unfortunately, some people are more concerned with the welfare of the living creature in front of them than with how they got there and their impact on the larger ecosystem.

The human population will reach an obscene 9.7 billion by the middle of the next century, stretching natural resources to the breaking point. And I'll bet there will be bleeding heart morons who insist it's "wrong" to leave newborn infants to starve out in the cold or be eaten by wolves, when we all know they're just going to further contribute to the ravage of our planet. Honestly, there's no getting through to some people.

This makes absolutely no sense. I hope this post was high on sarcasm, but maybe you were just high?

Jt was already pushing the common sense envelope, but this statement shreds the envelope and feeds it to the iguanas.

So...
Who saw the snow?

Gosh.. Im glad we didnt book our trip for this time of year. How disapointing to fly to florida in the winter and it be freezing cold. Although every morning here for the last couple weeks have been in the single digits.

That happened to me last year in January. My first 2 days were very cold but still warmer than Jersey so I did not complain much and who wants to be working anyway. I would take freezing in Florida over freezing in NJ any day of the week.
