Sir, we can’t say THAT on a Disney Mic – a Feb 2012 TR!

a.k.a. The Adventures of Pascal TR

Intro:
Welcome everyone to my very first trip report! Ahh!!! All week, I’ve been trying to be good and wait to start on my TR until I got my lesson plans for school done (they’re all due tonight), but… since I’m currently at work and am at a place where I can’t do any work on my lessons until I’m out of the office, I figured that posting the beginnings would be a good idea! :lol: As you may have read in my Pre Trip Report, this trip has definitely been a long time coming… a 4 year wait for me in fact! I was told that if I didn’t write my trip report for this trip, I would be “disowned, unfollowed, and shunned”… thanks for that one Kenzie!

In the midst of the trip, we got to celebrate both of our birthdays and Valentine’s Day, so it was a magical experience indeed.

So without further ado:

The cast:

There’s me, Courtney, who turns 23 tomorrow (AHHHH!) and this was my 19th trip to the World… and then there’s my wonderful BF, Dan, who turned 23 the day before our trip (Feb 12) and who is lucky enough (or not) to spend his first WDW visit with me!

There was a third member of our cast as well… a mischief stowaway by the name of Pascal!

The dates: February 13 through February 17, 2012

With all of that being said… let the memories begin!

Back on Main Street, we decided to pop into a few stores real quick, in case we didn’t have time to Thursday night when we came back to MK. Dan also apparently wanted to buy me my present, so that’s exactly what happened!

Look, I’m a princess!!!!!!

Finally, we had one last little thing on the agenda to do, and that was to meet the famous mouse couple (because who doesn’t want a Mickey/Minnie picture on the Hallmark Holiday?)

With that, we headed back to the resort to relax for a little while before dinner, and so I could get my camera charged before our character dinner that night. The plan was for Dan to get some pool time in, but it never ended up happening since we only had about an hour or so before we wanted to head back over towards MK area. So we just watched tv while we waited for my camera to charge. Boring, I know. But eh, it was relaxing... knowing me, I probably took a nap while I was at it. :lol:

Next up... long waits, bloomer pulling, and Dan is actually evil. :fork:

And that picture of your guys looking and laughing at each other... awwww.... it made me feel all eewwy gooey inside!!! lol

Space and Splash are my two favs at MK! Love them!! My mom met Buzz at MK but we didn't meet Woody and Jessie.. Instead we met Woody and Buzz together at DHS. I think guys playing those characters always have a good time with pretty girls

Can't wait to read more!! YAY!!!

I wanted to make sure Dan tried the Dole Whip before we left the park for the day, so we made our way over… on the way there, I saw a couple standing in a corner eating and did a double take. It was the Bricker duo! How exciting! So, as a stalker-fan that I am, I made my way over and introduced myself as well as Dan. Tom and Sarah were both so nice! I felt like I was talking to someone super famous, which made me feel awkward. Add on top of it that my camera was dead, and I was talking to an amazing photographer.. oh the thoughts going through my head about how terrible I was right then! But thank you so much you guys for talking to us, it was exciting!

After saying goodbye, we got in line for the deliciousness and I called Jess freaking out (“Guess who I just met??” “I told you they were nice! Wasn’t Sarah so pretty?” etc etc), so that chat lasted a little bit much to Dan’s amusement. After we got off the phone, we got our desserts and made our way towards Main Street once again. But not without stopping at another PhotoPass opportunity!

Tom is so inspirational with his photography as well, so it was really neat to meet them. When they uploaded it, I showed Dan the first page of the TR and he was like "Wow, he took those? And we MET him?"

when i was going through all my pictures i was like nope none of these are usuable at all. Can't compare to Tom's work...however they same day I met Tom and Sarah i did meet Neil Patrick Harris so two celebrities in one day as pretty awesome

I feel so special that I get to be noted in your report!!!! That day you called me was funny..I talked to you in the bathroom at work at the end of my shift..cuz outside was too loud. When I was finished talking to you I popped out and the girls working we're so confused..they thought I left!!

I love how you called me The Brickers are two of the nicest people!!!

Can't wait to hear about your next adventures! (even though I already know all about your adventures) :lol: With camera hehe

Aww you guys are so cute.

It's great knowing Dan was having a good time on his first trip. I remember my husband's first trip. He set the bar REALLY high by proposing on the first day. I tell him that he has a great story when he tells people about going to WDW for the first time. Our first ride together was Pirates and that's how it shall be evey. single. time. we go. :lol: But it was so nice experiencing things through his eyes and seeing him really enjoy himself.

Awww, Pirates is a good first ride to have! And that is such a cute story for a first time... we're too far away from that point for that to have happened any time soon (coming up on 8 months of dating in a few days, with the 2 years of best friendship to back it up :lol: ).

The dress was very comfy, even though I kept worrying about the back of it! It got more uncomfortable later in the day because I switched it, and... well, you'll see.. that's the next update when I get it finished.

Pascal has more appearances the more we go into our trip, it was a fun game for us. And, in person, I've only met Shelley and the Brickers. Though Jess and I have become BFFs just through the internet alone from here (I swear, if she's really a crazy person in real life.......)

Loving this TR - you and Dan are cuties (and I love how you just repeat how cute you are all the time, because we obviously agree with you).

I'm glad I held off on the FB pictures before reading - this way I get the story, and then I can see the extra pictures (and there are SO MANY MORE on FB, overwhelming!).

Can't wait to hear about sups, can you hurry please.. I mean, I have three midterms this week (French in an hour booo) and I need something to prevent me from starting my own TR, which is a terrible plan.

Kenzieeee. Yes, I did have to tell everyone because it amused me way too much when you threatened me (threats aren't suppose to be amusing, are they??).

My mentor teacher asked me if anyone has ever told me that Dan and I look like twins/brother&sister. My face: :hurl:

FB doesn't even have all of the pictures. I took 1064, and then there was 128 photopass pictures.

Get your midterm done, the second half of Valentine's will be up once I finish writing it... which will probably be after the gym tonight.

annnnnd PS (two can play at this game lady!): the thought of student teaching in the fall is scaring the knickers off of me right now. The handbook for a mentor teacher is 136 pages, I can't even imagine what MY handbook is gonna look like.

so cool,I've met ppl in Disney from the internet only it was through playing a facebook game together for 3 yrs,I wrote about it in my last TR from september 2011(which was also my first TR ever)
