A hypocrite is someone who would very much like to see the photos of how things work, but then complains when someone breaks the rules to get the photos, even while looking at them.
You also assume that A. there was anyone in the doombuggy next to the OP or if there was then B. their experience was ruined. The could have thought it was a lightning effect for all you know. There's "breaking the rules", and then there is breaking the rules in a way that infringes on the rights of other people.
The odds are very low that the guy or gal sitting in the next doombuggy over from the OP when he snapped his photo is reading this forum right now thinking "What a jerk . . . but hey, nice photo".
Put another way, I would feel completely differently about the photo - and I think naturally so - if it had been taken by a CM while HM was closed instead of someone who had to ruin another person's experience in order to get it.
Judging on the popularity of the threads devoted to showing unauthorized photos of such things as the draining of the 20K lagoon, and the interior of Expedition Everest, I'd say there are plenty of people who enjoy such photos. Oh, don't forget the photos of the redhead from pirates, without her clothes, during the rehab. Those photos didn't stay up for long - just long enough, really.
There might even be a few hypocrites around here. :lookaroun
There's a difference between say, getting pictures while the ride is closed or not open yet, or taking one while the ride is open and packed with people. The former is just a personal risk, and taking the chance of getting in trouble. The latter is a matter of rudeness to other guests and manners.

No.Do you find either of these assumptions to be unreasonable?
Safe in my archives. Actually, most of the photos I have are very similar to ones found floating around the net. That stuff isn't hard to find. And the others? Where are they?:lookaroun:wave:
Just pointing out for clarity:
As much as I adore, collect and crave "unauthorized" photos, I have never taken a flash photo on a ride when other guests are present.
The few I have taken have been with the ....um...assistance of friendly CMs.
Nobody's ride ruined by me, I gaurantee it.
Unless you can never ride Mansion again after that photo of the bat mechanism....:animwink:
Yes. They are necessary for me because I like them. I gotta have them.
Disappointed in me? Because I like to peek behind the curtain? Sorry 'bout that.
Yeah. No point in riding now, huh?
Honestly...that was the least revealing photo of that sort I had to post.
