WOW, those are great pages and you definitely have a talent because they certainly don't look like they were done by a beginner. I am sure your sister is going to be so touched by the thought and effort that went in to this special present, what a lovely idea !

Those pages look fabulous!! The book will be a nice reminder of the trip for your sister and your niece. I made little 6x6 books for each of my 3 nieces after our last family trip (forgot to take pics before I handed them over )

As they get older, I'm sure the details will fade and the scrapbooks will help the girls (your niece as well as mine!) to remember the trip.

WOW! Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement. :o DH isn't much help with that for this stuff... I am by far my biggest critic and I'm such a perfectionist with my own stuff that I have a tough time seeing past the little "imperfections". You all have given me a lot of ideas with what you've posted so far. I'm sure I'd be lost without it.

Thanks again!

Hi everyone! I have been reading this thread although I haven't posted for a while. I have decided to make an A4 size photobook of our Disney holiday last year (a bit late I know). I have started making the pages, but it is taking me a long time. I'm still not sure about some of the pages, and may still make some changes before I print them! For example, I have decided not to use drop shadows on the photos, but I may change my mind! :hammer:

Here are the first few:

Those are great! I love how you got so many photos on the pages yet they look so clean! I also really love the pic of your daughters waving at the boat! Great! :sohappy::sohappy:

I totally agree with Jenn and Tammy--I LOVE the clean, simplicity of the pages, but the embellishments you do decide to use work perfectly with the photos, theme, and paper. Can't wait to see more!

A4 is the standard for letter-sized paper in Europe--it is slightly longer than our 8-1/2 x 11.

Minnie2000, I love your pages! I particularly like that you're doing them in landscape (crosswise) format, rather than the usual portrait/lengthwise. As others have mentioned, they are very clean-looking and bright, and the embellishments and fonts are ideal. Also, your daughters are beautiful girls!

Hopefully, as winter draws near, I will be able to make time for scrapbooking, but in the meantime, looking at everyone's work on this thread will give me plenty of ideas for when I do get going.
