How do we know they are changing the preshow?

Sounds good. I really don't recall any mentioning of the pre-show at D23, but since everyone else does, I must have just missed it.

Well, if there was ever a chance to see if Disney was turning itself around, this preshow rehab will be it. It's near perfect as it is.

I am quite apprehensive about changing the pre-show, but the recent Youtube Muppet surge gives me hope.

You'd get the same reaction if they said they were changing the theatre or the movie. The show is just a classic and people are apprehensive.

I actually don't think they would have the energy to redo the entire preshow, but we'll see. It wouldn't surprise me if this was more of a Pirates or Haunted refurb, where things get cleaned up with minor changes made to bring things up-to-date.

But then again, I could be completely wrong...

I really think the new preshow will be ok. About 3 years ago I got to talk to Mrs Henson . She said Mr Henson stated that if any other company could have the Muppets he would like it to be Disney. So if Mr Henson Trusted in Disney I will too.

Remember I think it was that german company that made muppets wizard of Oz and some of the newer movies. Disney Just got the rights to be able to do stuff with them .

If the You tube skits and commercials are anything to go by we should have a good new preshow.

The preshow is fine. The majority of guests miss the start anyway. And don`t have enough time to see all the gags in the room.

Just get the original in-theatre effects all working again. Clean up the film / go digital. Happy.

I seriously hope they just dust off the props and install some flat screen TVs. Hopefully they will fix the broken theater effects too. I'm glad that the next time I get to see it will be after the refurb has taken place.

Looking forward to the refurb and hope they do it right, one of our favorite attraction shows. :sohappy:

I love when you walk into the theater and you can see the explosion marks still on the ceiling from the previous show!! :ROFLOL:

I've got mixed feelings on this one.

I'm excited for the main film upgrades, but apprehensive about the pre-show changes. Very apprehensive.

Either way, anyone want to explain which show effects are "broken." I had never noticed any of them not working.

Oh I was under the impression from reading this tread that there would be a new preshow.

The overhead fireworks are dirty and some have failed. One wall pannel dosn`t explode. Another does but at the wrong time.

I am not aprehensive about a change to the pre-show I am kind of excited... I like change.. Sometimes change is good, sometimes its bad... I will nto pss any judgement until I can experince they change.. If the preshow does chage I am hoping Pepe The King Prawn gets to be in it okay
