Muppetvision Refurb Announced

I can't wait to see the updated Muppetvision in Dec 2010!

I agree. I'm wicked excited.

Also, after reading this and the E:E thread, is there a thread somewhere on this board for all those fun, random insightful facts people seem to be enjoying? I'd love to read a bunch of those for an hour or two.

I have LONG thought this needed an upgrade. I'm glad to hear it's finally going to happen. Personally, this is my favorite 3D show in all of WDW.

But my biggest complaint is the pre-show..aha! Let me explain....I LOVE the pre-show. But the last three or four times I've been to WDW, I haven't been able to hear it because EVERYONE TALKS while waiting for the show to start. I wish there was a way they could make the pre-show more....front and center? Like I wish there was a way to make it impossible NOT to hear. Perhaps I just always am unlucky and always end up with a chatty bunch....

While I agree to an extent, Universal does that and the result at the end of the day is your ears are bleeding.

am I the only one who likes the mechanical projection better than digital? it has such a nice retro feel to it. It really adds to the show for me. I know it's cheaper and more efficient, but I really like it the way it is. Oh well

Yes, I know it needs a refurb, I'm just bummed that it's happening during my upcoming trip. I've loved Muppetvision since I was a kid and haven't been to Disney in about 3 years. It needs the love, just a bit bummed I won't see it on this trip.

The dates I posted are not necessarily official. They came from "stitchkingdom" but they are almost always right. Check your local listings for times in your area.:wave:

Yeah, I'll be there April 25 - May 2, so I'm definitely going to miss it. Oh well, I'll look forward to the refurbed version next time I visit.

This is perfect news. I love when I hear that one of my favorite attractions are getting some love.
My mother adores the Muppets as much as we all do, but she's always way too eager to skip the attraction (as is the majority of my family) because we have been on it so many times and we know it by heart. My mom has always said that her favorite things to do in WDW are things she's never done before, so this should be perfect
I adore the current preshow in all its pure and epic Muppetness, but we can always revisit it with youtube n' whatnot. I would LOVE to see a new one. I cannot wait.
