I've always loved the preshow but looking forward to what they will do with it. Hopefully not too many changes. Im getting more apprehensive about Star Tours 2. Every time I go on it now I think about how I'll miss it.

If I see just one new refrence to Disney Digital 3-D I will rage with silent flames behind me.

Oh, And I have to be there for the last show. So it'll be open on the 23rd, Closed on the 24th, correct?

The overhead fireworks are dirty and some have failed. One wall pannel dosn`t explode. Another does but at the wrong time.

What about Waldo screeching his tires at the edge of the screen, "let's burn rubber". That effect seems to have been removed as well.

Yeah, smoke comes out. It's awesome. As are the Arrows, Fireworks, Light Scrim Walls, and every other effect working or not in Muppetvision.
:D

Hmmm...cool. Hopefully it'll be working when I'm there this summer.

And yes, everything about Muppetvision=Awesomesauce.

I am actually excited about a new Muppetvision preshow as well!

I really did love the old one...make no mistake!
But a little Electric Mayhem presence...or a (very)little Pepe presence might inject some new life into it, and can't be a bad thing.
I'm just glad they aren't touching the actual show, except for some referb love.

The first times I saw the show, there was the muppetime countdown clock, with the very funny sarcastic scroll.
The last few years, it wasn't there.
My hope is that they would bring it back. It was one of my favorite parts of the pre-show.

If the preshow does chage I am hoping Pepe The King Prawn gets to be in it okay

I hate that turd. A perfect example of what's wrong with much of the post-Jim Henson era. But I suspect there's a good chance he could be in the preshow. I could even imagine them substituting him for Rizzo.

My sentiments exactly.

And I hope they don't get rid of Rizzo, by far one of the best Muppets.

There was an effect? I never remember one, and I know exactly the part you are talking about.

It was used on and off over the years. I saw it maybe 4-6 years ago active? It's an ok effect, problem is that it's LOUD.

:D

In recent memory, I think they also moved Waldo away from the left edge of the screen in addition to removing the mist/smoke effect.

I'm hoping for the preshow that its mostly new clips intercut with the best of the old one. That I would settle for. If they do decide to do an entirely new one, here's to hoping it will be completely awesome enough to make you forget the old one.
