I did once while I was working. I work for UPS and I saw this lady had all this stuff from WDW in her cubical. So I said hey Im going in 2 weeks, and I go every year. She did too, but this lady was a nut job so I havent talked to her since.

yupp! most people think I'm crazy because of my love for Disney so it is great meeting other people who are just as nuts about it as I am lol:hammer:
I actully bumped into a woman who was dressed as tinkerbell on halloween in the grocery store of all places  Anyways, I told her I loved her costume and she said that she dresses as a Disney character every year and was determined to dress as them all before she dies ahaha! Needless to say we got to talking about our Disney addictions

I must say, I have yet to meet anyone (besides the people I know and have converted myself :D) who is pretty involved with Disney, but I do come in contact with those who have been and loved it and it gets me so excited!!!

I was so excited a few weeks ago when I heard the words "Chef Mickey" from the other side of my desk (cubicle :hurl:). So of course I jumped up as soon as my neighbor was off the phone and grilled her about her upcoming vacation to WDW. So I discovered that I have a work buddy to chat Disney with! Although I think she might be humoring me a bit, because she isn't a nut like I am. But at least there's another person to add to my Disney chat list!! :sohappy:

For some reason, the people i meet around here are just not quite as Disney "involved" as I am... My store manager at work, and one of my assistants both have been to disney in the past 2 months, when I found out, me being the disney lover I am, have asked them where they stayed... and how the crowds were, and a few other questions. Only to get the look of "why are you so curious about MY vacation?" They just dont understand, that I am so In Love with Disney, that I want to make sure every one has a great time! haha!

I was on duty (I'm an RA) and I was chatting with residents...I was 91 days out, so I was freaking out about dining! One of my residents was walking by, and heard me talking about how I was 91 days out, and she was like "awesome, you get to make your ADR's tomorrow?!".

...

...

She even used the abbreviation. We now discuss Disney every time we see each other!

On my first day at a new job I just so happened to meet a fellow Disney-aholic. Not many days go by were we don't have something to talk about in Disney trivia or rumors or really anything Disney.

I even got him hooked on wdwmagic!!

I was running a mile at PE with this really fast girl because I wanted to run in 6 minutes, then she started singing zip a dee doo dah. Then I asked her if she is a disney fan and she said she is obsessed. We had this long conversation and we forgot we were running. We got through the mile in 6 munutes and 42 seconds!

I over heard a father of a girl in DD dance class talking about Disney and well we have been talking disney ever since. He just went in Jan and he almost forgot to bring the pictures to dance class, he turned around to get them as I would of asked him to do if he got there without them. We are going down around the same time and we are planning on meeting up once or twice so the girls can go on some rides together.
Also my coworker is a Disney nut too and we always chat Disney and swap any info we get but we are total oposites when it comes to how we vacation so its nice to hear different tips.

I like that most of my fellow Disney nerds are all neatly contained right here....

Most other people just think that I'm crazy.

Ditto!! This place is my own little world, haha. I don't have to explain myself, and why I feel the need to collect tinkerbell's at 27. But if I did find anyone outside of these boards who did the same thing - that would be kind of awesome. :D

I at least have my best friend at work for my Disney pal. I'm the pastry chef and she's the am dining room supervisor (kinda like maitre'd). We kid that we're twins separated at birth (though there's about a year differnce between our ages) because we think alike and have very similar upbringings. She was even lucky enough as a kid to not live very far from DL. We keep trying to plan to go to WDW together sometime, but because of our positions, it's hard to get enough time off at the same time for a decent trip. But at least it's great to have someone who understands and doesn't think I'm a total nutcase. :)
