Actually, I have been playing a Trumpet horn as of late.
And, to answer the question if my band is good....
....how does 36 years of straight superiors sound to you.
When I left, the school had been around for about 10 years, and we had about 8 years of SS' and the Krasuer Awards.
And our Color Guard was WGI World Champs in 2008, I think.

not always.. though they rigged it senior year so i was not on the ballot... they were guaranteed in for those 3 years i was on the ballot... but senior year they wanted to play safe :lookaroun
prom king was a good friend of mine though who admitted to me they did it, after graduation of course... he didnt do it though :lol:

That's how my high school was, than, the year after I graduated, they got a new band director and it went to crap from there. :brick:

That always happens.

They had a reason.
Anyway, one funny thing was that our old band director briefly came to one of the games and actually conducted us for the fight song.
Half of the band was crying their eyes out.

I'm not in band but I do know how to play many instruments.
I play piano, violin(sorta, it was a while back but I can learn the basics easily), saxophone (once again the basics), Orchestra chimes, xylophone, vibraphone, marimba, and dulcimer.
Band wasn't my thing though. I play in the music ministry at my Church.

Never had a desire to do that, I didn't like marching band enough. :lol:
