BTW, how does one reflect sound off a surface when you have no surface to resonate off of?

You know how hard it is to create that.. even level 5 bands in fla have that kid of problem...
Up here we always had a tilt towards brass versus wood winds.. in cocert the balance was great but marching you can't hear the flutes.. or the claanets...
why have 2 pats when you can't hear the first part... :shrug:
now Front ensamble.. if we hit a note you can hear us... and our keys are mostly made of wood :drevil::lol: (though our instruments were from like the 70s and were on the verge of breaking.. in fact some eys were broken.. we took 2 old ones and made 1 playable one. :lol:

I'm thinking the stands of the stadium, I guess. :lol:
possible... though mine were concrete so they reflected back at us... and we had like 2 brass to very 1 woodwind... hence the fact we could not hear them...

Now that you can, but outside where we practiced...not so much. It was a big open field. Than, at the games, the crowd absorbed all the sound. Thusly, little to no resonance. But we did have amazing sound. Too bad the program went to crap.
