I was in marching band for 3 years in highschool, only I didnt play any instrument, I was in the Colorguard :) I was captain my junior and senior years, and I loved it so much that after I graduated I was hired as the colorguard instructor :) if I hadnt moved away I would still be doing it! Tonight was the local band show and there were eleven HS marching bands in the show and sadly I couldn't go :( I could hear it from my porch though! I can't wait til the day that my daughter hits school age and can start playing an instrument! I'm gonna be one of "those" moms... you know the ones I'm talking about!!!

Oh! and I wanted to add that I did get to perform in Disneyland and do a parade with our marching band as well as perform with the chorus. I really wish it had been in WDW though!!!

Trust me: there's no way you COULD enter that into Finale. That "piece" uses notes and things that don't EXIST in real music.

Trust me.. you can do anything in finale if you wanted... you just need to now how to manipulate the program into letting you... (I once scored Light Magic on it.. lol)

How about Garage Band?:lookaroun
Never tried, but i would imagine it would sound like a test tone you hear during color bars... :drevil:

There's NO WAY you could put that on Finale without re-writing the program, in which case it would no longer be Finale. There's no option on the program for 65536th notes (yes, that's what the music calls for), and that's the LEAST of your worries.

you could be creative and work around the problems.... audacity does wonders for finale:drevil:

Define "work around." If by "work around" you mean change some settings, then: no. If by "work around" you mean reprogram Finale then: maybe.

it would require a lot of different saved documents.... and using audacity then laying the different midis from each saved document... it sounds like a bunch of noise... but it is possible, I don't have finale anymore... or else i would have tried it by now.
