This morning was the first day I could see my breath outside. It was brisk but pleasant weather, the kind where you wear short sleeves just to feel that nice nip. I *heart* October. :D

IT'S ****ING FREEZING UP HERE! :lookaroun

I love the cold! But I must admit, today was a picture perfect day, cold enough that I could watch everyone else bundled up and shivering, warm enough for me to keep my jacket off.

UGH... I hate fall. It just depresses me.

And today is the first day I've felt that gross cold feeling on my skin... and I've started to wear a sweater at night...

It's just a reminder that winter's coming soon and that means even colder temperatures and snow... ick ick ick.

I hate how my feet and fingers are constantly cold.

And I'm constantly sick. I can already feel the tickle in my throat coming.

Yet more reasons why a move south is needed.
LMAO....I was reading this saying RAIN a sweater already it been 90 70 degrees at night and there no snow in FL, then I saw moving south is needed...... SO I look at the date and it dated last year at this time..:lookaroun

Hopefully Rain is a little happier this October.

It's still a TAD warmer in Atlanta than I care for, but after sweating through June and July down on the coast, I can't complain a bit.

Hey!!!!!! Man, long time no see!!!!!!!!! Oh, my! These pictures are just awesome.....

Well, spring has just begun here, and it's getting hotter and hotter. In November, it's already REALLY hot, and in Dec/Jan, it's boiling. At Christmas, everyone is sunburned. That's why I go to WDW in December, to feel the season's chill.:xmas: I think seasons up there are much better, because fall leads to Thanksgiving (which we don't have here :( ) and then to Xmas and New Year's. So, there's something to do in the fall/winter. Here, winter is in July, and there's just nothing special........ Anyway, I love the holidays, so I always get excited when October comes, it's the best time of the year for me: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!:sohappy:

This is the first Oct in four years when I WON'T be heading to PA. :( I didn't realize how much I missed it until that trip 4 years ago; I believe I made a post about it. It was, as I stated then, a visceral feeling, ie, it affected me so much that I felt funny inside; the longing and nostalgia were overwhelming.

I always brought back a suitcase full of apples fresh from the orchard, and baked pies for days. This area of PA is home to Mott's, Whitehouse, etc.

This is one summer I'm particularly happy to see the back of. It invited itself way too early (it started getting uncomfortable in April here), and hung around too long, well into September.

Last Sunday, we got a precipitous drop of about 20 degrees and it's been GREAT since. It's even more welcomed this year since I'm training for the WDW marathon and can actually run before dark now. :)
