I haven't been to the forums for years... but I received an email about this thread, and I couldn't resist!
I really wish Xmas was closer, but yeah, we are starting to feel the season approaching down here too. The temperatures are beginning to go up!!! The weather specialists say it's gonna be as hot as last year (up to 113º!) This year I'll be ready: just bought an air conditioner, before prices start going up. Last year they vanished from stores!

Yeah. It's funny because it is usually boiling hot here in December, but all the decorations are the same as in the US, with snowmen, Xmas trees, and the guys in Santa suits often feel sick because of the heat!

I have the same feeling! I am waiting for November to start listening to Xmas music and watching Xmas movies. I am trying to teach my daughter this habit, as nobody in Brazil listens to this kind of music, or wear Xmas t-shirts... I guess these are American habits... I have always done that, since I was a little girl! Just can't wait to start my Xmas countdown!!!!:xmas:
